I had planned to fly to Australia at one point in my life to see this band play one time. Was hoping after the travel ban was lifted.. unfortunately that doesn’t seem possible. One of my favorite bands that helped me get through so much and resonates with my soul like no other. Have their tear drop tattooed on my leg as a reminder of my past that correlates with the music and what I’ve learned through my perspective. Most importantly taught me to reflect, then respond. Such a simple concept that we all overlook but can change our life. And how our perspective when reflecting can stop us in our tracks or take take us to greater heights. Hope you all as musicians strive and prosper.

Ah man, first Familiar Spirit broke up (which was my current favorite band), now I get the news that my other favorite band Vacant Home broke up, too?! Can 2020 seriously get any worse? Heirloom and Shiver got me through 2018, which was a super rough year for me. I had a friend loose his battle to depression, work was really tough and I was just coming into my own. These songs, packed with the raw emotion that only metalcore can provide, really helped me release my own emotions and stuggles. I wish the best to Callum and I hope Vacant Home continues in some form. Thanks for songs and the memories.
