I'll never forget this song. I was a preteen (at home alone with my older teenage sisters. They were my baby sitters.) I had oil heating up in a pan so that I could fry some taco shells. When this song started playing on the radio, I left the oil unattended to go sing along. The song was almost over when the next thing I knew, my older sisters were screaming fire. Simultaneously, our neighbors were breaking down our kitchen door to get inside to extinguish the fire. Our neighbors saved our lives that night. The kitchen sustained some major damage. I got in big trouble and learned a valuable lesson to always turn off the burner when my jam came on the radio. SMH
