Great build! However, I am getting confused by the bike industry and their marketing gibberish. Aero Gravelbike is the title. But what are the actual aero features of the bike? The downtube is kinda aero looking. Round seattube, round seatstays, round handlebar etc. Is one non-round tube all it takes to market a bike as aero nowadays? Deep section wheels could be mounted on any other bike and it would be at least as aero as this one. And I find it more appropriate to call it an Allroad bike (they mention it on their website that it is meant for allroad) or simply, endurance bike. My current endurance bike with 38mm tires has a longer wheelbase and more relaxed geometry than this one. And while you can ride gravel on 30mm tires, is this then really a gravel bike, or a disguised endurance bike? It doesn't even have a gravel groupset. And the RED DOT Design Award basically means nothing at this point, because almost every new product has it. This rant was oriented to the bike manufacturer, not to this channel, I enjoy your build videos and keep up the good work!

There is another option with rubber bands you can use in combination with a Garmin mount. Compared to Shimano and Sram Campa has quite some catching up to do...😅

Funny that Strava, Aurum Bikes (Alberto Contador) and Parapera use the exact same logo (mountain with alpha shape)... no ideas left??

Not exact the same, but yes indeed! ^^ Seams to be a very uninspired logo. ... or maybe it has something to do with illuminati?! △ ;-)

Please set a time mark for just the build! I get that loads of people want to see the weights of every nut and bolt but as I’m just here for the builds it’s really boring to sit through. it’d make it loads better if I could just see exactly where to skip to.

It shocks me that people would buy a new bike with non integrated cable routing in 2021
@roadbikechannel
@roadbikechannel 2 жыл бұрын
on the pro side, maintenance is a LOT easier. Integrated is a cleaner for sure, but try flipping a stem or swapping a bar and your pretty much fckd 🙈
@NeutralGenericUser
@NeutralGenericUser 2 жыл бұрын
@@roadbikechannel That's fair, but I doubt the average person is constantly flipping their stem or swapping bars. I'd argue that for 90+% of people, the aesthetic advantage alone hugely outweigh every con, and that's without bringing aero into it.
@unairamos74
@unairamos74 2 жыл бұрын
Are you aware that aero gains are irrelevant in this case, unless you're a Pro rider? On the other hand, as RBC states, any kind of maintenance is a pain once every single cable goes undercover.
