Playing Stalker 2 on the Xbox for over 10 hours now and having a great time! Yes, the game does have graphical issues and a few bugs, as expected for an UE5 open world game, but the game captivated me nonetheless. The game is first and foremost an open world "survival" game, so no horse, like in Elden Ring, Witcher 3 or RDR2, and also no car like in GTA5 or Cyberpunk! And "no" fast travel ability either! Skill Up criticised in his review that the inventory is too small, but overlooks that this is an intended game feature that one needs to optimise the inventory space management when traversing the "deadly" open world. Once one understands how to play and survive in this game, it can be very immersive, unlike many other open world games.

Stalker 2 will be a masterpiece in 1 to 2 years. There's a lot of polishing to do. I kinda disagree with all the reviews without the day one patches, but I belive it still needs a year long polishing. Given the circumstances they did amazing but uncle Phil now rushes third party studios too, becuase he needs that gamepass numbers and "engagement" metrics for Satya and the shareholders.

I've been playing it on XSX, and I wouldn't say it's unplayable. Needs a lot of polishing, but considering the circumstances of the development, I can understand. People cried about Cyberpunk and it became one of the best games ever made and my personal favorite. PC seems to be having most of the problems.

It's amazing how he picked the lowest score of the game, which was the pc version, and it only got a lower score because of optimization issues. Yet the series x version doesn't have that issue.
