"Bon Voyage" is the 3rd and final part of the Apocalypse trilogy, which is about the destruction of the environment by humanity. The members have mentioned that it is about giving nature a break. Any encounter between human beings always has separation attached to it as well, just as death is a part of life. SuA also said that the fluffy floating thing that Dami summons from her painting is a cell, representing nature. It has been named "Celly" and is adorable, right? My dark mind believes that they are saying "Have a good trip" to humanity, since we are well on our way of wiping ourselves out. It's like a breakup between humanity and the earth. Once humanity is gone, nature gets the break it needs and the circle will begin again. For me, the key to understanding the lyrics is that they are singing as human beings, not as a single person. And they are singing to nature, confessing their love and the realization that we are not good for nature and that it probably resents us. It could also be the other way round (them singing as mother nature to humanity). SuA jumping out after the dove seem to represent their desire for peace. There are still many things I don't know. For example, why are all three titles in French. 😉 (And why are there 3 Damis with 7 shadows...) The story of the MV seems to be that the rest of humanity has sheltered away under force fields after the apocalypse. This gives nature time to heal. Musically I can already say this is one of their best songs for me. The chorus slaps hard, and the variations between heavy and slow are just beautiful. It has emotion and impact at the same time. Putting JiU's sweet voice together with an acoustic guitar is simply genius.

Bonvoyage is the Final part of the Apocalypse Trilogy. The Trilogy is in order: 1. Masion (which got them their 1st & 2nd Music Show 🏆 wins 1923 days after their Debut as Dreamcatcher not counting their time as Minx) 2. Vision 3. Bonvoyage (which gave them their 3rd & 4th Music Show Wins)

Bonvoyage is only one of two of their songs to get a win on the weekly Korean music shows, the other being Maison which is the start of the same trilogy. Both won on two shows during their promotions. Dreamcatcher still holds the record for the longest time between debut and first show win for a girl group - their first win for Maison was huge deal to the fandom. Links between songs in Dreamcatcher's various series tend to be more thematic rather than narrative. And so, no, Celly does not appear in any other MVs and so watching those videos (though they are of equal quality) will give you no clues to what Celly is about.

This MV is great, their most animeish song with my bias Siyeon slaying as always. Next song to react is Dejavu, Vision… You could react to KISS OF LIFE - SIXTH SENSE to hear the greatest whistle note in Kpop.
