Deja Vu is nothing short of a masterpiece. It is a beautiful, fragile ballad that kicks your teeth down your throat in the chorus. It is extra difficult to sort out, because it tells the story from two perspectives. You know how even evil people think they are the good guys? This is reflected here. One perspective is Yoohyeon's, who gets corrupted right in the beginning. She thinks JiU is bad (does not want to share power) and backstabs her and kills, imprisons or banishes the other members so that she can rule alone. The other perspective is reality, where we can see JiU be kind to Yoohyeon, but she gets killed for it. I believe this is a commentary on the different perspectives people can have about the same event. The lyrics seem to hint at an abusive relationship, where there are usually two perspectives as well, and the abuser finds excuses to justify their actions, while the abused find themselves in an endless Deja Vu.

Raid of Dream was a special mini album, I assume, because it's not part of any of their normal overarching storylines. Deja Vu was done as a collaboration with the Kings Raid mobile game and if I remember right, they said that they loved the song so much they decided to do an EP with it. There are several really cool lyric videos on the Kings Raid channel for songs on this album and few other DC songs all themed around the game's visuals. They also have Japanese versions for several of the songs there including Deja Vu. The Summer Holiday EP is also a special mini album. I suspect the next one we get will also be a special if they keep the same format as they've done in the past. Nightmare - Special Mini - Dystopia - Special Mini - Apocalypse - ? Deja Vu is -that- song. It's definitely one of my favorite Dreamcatcher title tracks. The delicate vocals combined with the powerful hard-hitting rock chorus, and Handong's pre-chorus line is one of the most iconic lines in any Dreamcatcher song. I assume that Curse of the Spider is tied to the Nightmare series but I've never delved too deep into the lyrics and meaning behind it so I can't be sure. It's a great mix of electronic and rock though and I love the song. For Silent Night you have to watch some fan cams of them performing it at the most recent US stops. The final part of the song gets replayed multiple times, and they go CRAZY during it, every time. Some of the shows had them doing that last drop 6 or 7 times, I think. It's amazing to watch. Polaris. The spend a whole album rocking your socks off and then just destroy you emotionally with the final song. They do it every time and it's always amazing. Next up is Dystopia: The Tree of Language. Their first full album and it's fantastic. It's the most genre diverse album I've ever listened to from any group, ever. You'll also get Siyeon's first solo, Paradise, as part of this album. My recommendation for it is to do the MV and the Piano version. The Piano version is really stripped back, and its arrangement is slightly different. It's definitely worth checking out in addition to the MV.

That’s cool! I can’t wait to get more into their live Performances because they are going to k i l l me hahahaha I know Silent Night is going to be amazing live Polaris is just THAT SONG hahaha It’s like, the peace after the storm but like as an emotionally unstable person 😂😂 I actually filmed my reaction to dystopia : the tree of language yesterday and spoiler: WOW!! It says Special mini album because its a Game Collaboration. The entire album was for a game called "Kings Raid" The first title track with ballad and rock combined. (Bon Voyage is second, people who loved Deja Vu really loved bon voyage too) Also one of the most loved album by insomnia.
