"our songs are about the issues in our society" - Lee Siyeon Dreamcatcher's songs used to be about some thrilling creepy loves or nightmares, but in dystopia (the opposite of utopia) series, it's all about what's been happening recently in the industry, where idols are finally get to be treated like a human being and they're being supported for voicing out what they have been through. 'Scream' was about how they never give up on what they do as idols no matter how hard it is. 'Boca' means mouth in Spanish and in this case, the mouth full of thorns, which is also seen in the choreography. The song is either telling everyone that they should set themselves free by saying what's been hurting them, or it's to those who claim to be a fan while they only see negative things and keep hurting people and 'too many angels'. sorry I can't stop myself from saying this I'M SO HWAKING GAY FOR SIYEON PLEASE SAVE ME

I originally thought dreamcatcher was all about nightmare, but this theme has ended with the piri's album "The end of nightmare" which is self explanatory, and the album of deja vu "Raid of dream" to show what's left after nightmare. The actual theme is "Dystopia : Tree of language", it seems there is a tree that control and maintain the communication between humans. We see a tree in both scream and boca MVs. At the beginning of Scream MV, there is a sentence "One day suddenly the light did not come, people forgot how to say good things". I though scream was only about witch hunt but there is actually a lore behind it. In this MV, the tree is connected to an altar or something though a portal, Gahyeon go in it and touch a crystal of language that explode, then a shockwave blow from the tree. I think she started everything, the chorus "please I don't want to scream" become "I just wanna make you scream" stating she is contaminated by the madness and try to hurt people with words. Also Dami's rap : "One by one, everyone goes crazy". In Boca, in a world full of sharp word, the lyrics tell somnias to close the door of their heart to bad mouth, a hero (dreamcatcher) come to lock the door until they change the world and repair the language In a recent live, JiU says Boca is the second episode of a three part series. The last part is probably about Dreamcatcher restoring the language, bringing back love to the world and ending the dystopia. Not only Dreamcatcher is talented and pretty, their concept is also so deep. I can't believe this group is still underated. DC deserve so much more.

BP or not - Dreamcatcher has been significantly more active in recent years. There are more than 100 album titles and countless covers and live performances. Don't forget the special clips (on the official DC-YT channel). In short - it is an outstanding group that is unfortunately rarely invited to big events in South Korea because it is supposedly outside the norm and too strange (also in the music style). Doesn't matter. That's why I love this group. Example: I can recommend Dreamcatcher's performances "live" in France and Saudi Arabia (2023). Search on YT. It's wild.

Not only that but I wanna add on: You can see in Black or White the choreo isn't symmetrical, especially when Siyeon's down on one knee, that's most likely because they're still reserving a place for her. Boca's line distribution suggests she might get handed some of SuA's and Siyeon's current lines (if they plan on including her in stage performances which is extremely likely) and the choreo is symmetrical according to 6 people but I assume the choreo will be expanded to fit 7 in the positions later. Red Sun at 40 seconds in the choreo is also not symmetrical, if you look toward the back you'll see Siyeon on the left side behind Dami but an empty space for Handong on the right back side. On the MMT virtual concert, Handong appeared toward the end on a pre-recorded video and surprised even the other members, who some of which struggled to hold back tears upon turning around to see her on the screen. DC has always been and will always be 7, that is what all of the members and the staff have always been reflecting. It's not about how many members they do or don't have at that moment in time, they will always be DC, and they will forever be 7, and I think the professionalism and adaptability of not just the members but also the staff members and management is what solidifies that more than anything else ever could.

Sua's line "too many Angel's dying now" is so true . We've lost some angels in the last few years and that isn't okay. This song is basically an anthem for change. People, specifically haters, need to stop bringing people down for no reason. You don't know that the spiteful things you say about someone are actually detrimental to a person's mental health. exactly. someone i know has been diagnosed with depression due to people hating on her, or saying hateful things to her, especially online and in school. she told me that people kept calling her “fat”,”ugly”,”untalented”,”unworthy.” i know she is talented, and she is beautiful. she has talents such as playing musical instruments,singing,and dancing, yet people still make fun of her. she isn’t too overweight, though she is skipping meals a lot. im currently with her to watch over her since i don’t want her to do anything bad. i can’t afford losing her. haters really need to stop hating on everyone they see. haters really just need to stop hating in general. everything would be better if everyone is kind and has a good heart.

It's not even surprising anymore, Dreamcatcher owns everything. Baby Gahyeon is shining so bright this comeback, she came a long way since 2017. Proud. SuA def made the transition to vocals, instead of lead rapper, Gahyeon won the position it seems and I do like her tone a lot. Dami is such a beast.
