Every era there are more and more album versions, tours, and merch. So where is the money? With the Justice MV and now this $5 and a dream setup... What's going on at DCC? Their first season's greeting had a similar concept, but the budget seemed higher and the concept more thought out, and that was 3 years ago. It's difficult to not become worried.

I do think the money goes into the artist & maintaining staff. As they still work with same staff & members also got fair share of the profit. As bad as the promotion of this company, i still happy with them coz they treat the girls in a very good way & they all can earn comofortable as well by being idol => the case that not so common happend for idol from outside big 3 agency

@@thztan7492 IF that is the case its better than the management pocketing it, but its still not good. That money is supposed to be invested in the group, which they seemingly understood before. Now they do no work promoting them AT ALL. No variety shows at all, maybe A festival, minimal fan content. They're even releasing less concept photos than they did in the past for absolutely no reason. Those photos are supposed to be used to promote them, but they pick one photo for each member (seemingly at random) from 2 out of 4 concepts and call it a day. 2 photo sets only see the light of day when the album gets released. There are also never any unit photos even though they go viral almost every cb. And at least before people could excuse it because the merch was so high quality. I remember when Mysterious Mansion came out people thought it was a concept photo for an actual cb because it looked so good. It got more hype with fans and non-fans alike and its STILL one of their best concepts. Its so frustrating because its been the same cycle of 2 weeks promo>tour>merch>tour>seasons greeting for years now and its obviously having an effect on the girls too. Its been quick money grab after quick money grab ever since they got their first win and its not sustainable. The fandom is not big enough for this, and theyre doing nothing to expand it.

@@2natrix agree with your point. I do think the promo should be better/ more innovative. Well they try with the Escape Room Game this time, lets see how it will be. And YES, SUPER AGREE with you Mysterious Mansion is SUPER GOOD. I dont think its bcoz of the 1st win though. I do think it's more bcoz of their new contract, perhaps there is diffrent arrangement this time around that makes them took this strategy. Regardless, i'm agree that they should be more innovative & try to expand their fanbase in new method of marketing approach. For the income thou i think DCC shares 50% of the profit with the members => very large proportion in Kpop i think. What i knoe from gen 2 idol, mostly only got 10-30%. But yes, the bigger the idol even 10-30% also is a big amount of money thou
