Now that I see this performance live, I think this is the first time Dreamcatcher has a song that caters to the lower range members, namely Handong and Dami. Notice how JiU and Gahyun, in order to have lines, sing a whole octave higher and even Siyeon struggles with volume on the lower end of the prechorus (0:31) vs. Handong who is super comfortable singing in that range (1:36). SuA never struggles in terms of range, girl is another breed, lol. But this is really a breath of fresh air! Hope they keep making songs that can showcase all of the girls skills, which are plenty!

You have clearly never heard Siyeon's low vocal covers if you think she struggles with lower range notes. Girl covered a low as hell song while chewing gum with zero backing track. Or Gahyun'w lower range which is strong as hell either. But that's what you get where people actively need to talk down other members to prop others up.

I'm not saying Siyeon doesn't have a lower range, I'm saying she's not a contralto (lower register female voice) like Dami or Handong (although Handong is leaning more towards a mezzo, which is middle range, but this is not the main topic of this comment). And that's not bad at all?? Just like saying Handong can't reach Siyeon's high notes because she's not a soprano (higher register female voice). Register =/= singing ability? Registers are a biological feature, just like eyebrows. You can't change it, just develop it. Gahyeon's lower register is nice, it's just not as low as the two members I mentioned and that's also okay. I made this comment because, being with them for years, their songs in lower register are getting more and more scarce and it's something I personally love to hear, so this topic gets me excited. Plus, as a much lower range contralto myself (lower than Dami, for example), I love to have girl songs I can at least sing along to without choking, lol Please relax, fellow somnie. We're both on the same team~
