One might think any color can be well-suited, regardless of face...with the right combination of: makeup colors & shades, jewelry, hair color, hair styles, ribbons, barrettes, bows, nail polish...and maybe a big giant tattoo across the forehead. (scratch that last part).

It’s about what colors you look good in WITHOUT styling! Having to wear a full face of makeup just to be able to wear a top without looking tired is not practical, seasonal color is basically just color theory so you can choose things that are effortlessly flattering. Idols look good on stage in everything because of the styling and hair and makeup, but they’re people who have to live everyday lives in normal clothes too!

Flashing a bunch of colors across someone's face like this is pretty absurd, to pretend it wouldn't include some makeup & other styling, hair color and everything else. If it's just to lounge around in sweats & T-Shirt and not be presenting to people, then it's even more ridiculous. On top of that, colors are frequencies. And so just like music notes, the preceding & following that are shown will have an effect on everything before & after. The time of day & lighting a person is in will also have some effect. This color sham is ridiculous. If you wear lime green non-stop for a week and then put on purple for a day, it's going to affect your perception of it and how you think you look in it. Especially if instead you wore jet black for a week straight instead of the lime. And if this woman convinces her she looks great in a dark grey or dirt brown, but other people think it makes her look like crypt-keeper, is that a good thing? Debatable, indeed.
