This Boca zombie version is inspired in the Netflix exclusive show "Kingdom", and according to one of the dancers, it was the actual makeup artists for Kingdom who did the makeup for the MV.

You were an the right track for the K-Zombie version of Boca. It was a Halloween special (Dreamcatcher takes their Halloween seriously), in collaboration with the team behind the K-Drama Kingdom. They did the styling and makeup for this video. The Red Sun performance was during an event where several groups performed a version of one of their songs, based on a Korean comic.

​@@viktorialetstalk Red Sun is DC's song so it wasn't based on the Korean comic, but the song was changed to fit the style of the comic. There is another Red Sun MV that is the original (choreographed by Sua) and it will sound different from this one. Just search for the special clip red sun because it is a B-side song. Edit: just found out you already saw the original lol, just ignore my rant.

Dami reminded me of the main character of the drama My Country (the new Age) .For the scene in which he imitates the shooting of an arrow. And his clothing is similar to worn by the protagonist Seo Hwi.The drama is set during the late Goryeo period to the early Joseon period.

The boca zombie version was a reward from them to insomnia for hitting 15 million KZbin views of their MV. You are right that it looks like a K-drama because the it was based on the drama "Kingdom". The makeup was also done by the same makeup team from the drama.

so the whole Red Sun performance is based/inspired by the White Blood/Unholy Blood Manhwa, where the main character uses the thorn crown to suppress her vampire powers/tendencies. IMO they chose the color white either because of the title of the song or that they wanted to portray the innocence the character once had or is trying to accomplish by suppressing her powers and trying to live among humans and be more humane.

I like your comment about dancing to the rock sound. It is something that I feel is very underestimated, because how do you dance to, and choreograph for, a rock song? Who has done this before? Can you name one? The rythm of drums and guitar is usually too fast to hit every 'beat'. I can imagine choreographing for rock being quite a challenge.
