"Maison" holds a special place in the hearts of all Insomnias . After a long wait of five years, the song finally helped the them achieve their first win. Dreamcatcher had been longing for a win since their debut, but despite their efforts, they couldn't secure any wins in their comebacks. At some point, they even stopped mentioning their desire to win, as they didn't want to disappoint their fans. So when they finally won last year, it was an emotional moment for everyone. the members couldn't stop crying.. (It was the first time we see Dami crying)

@@battleangel4833 Yup, it really is messed up, no 'kind of' about it. They deserved to win MANY TIMES before they were up against CLC and Everglow. Absolutely disrespected (and even sabotaged) by the industry in their own country. I hope they move away from Korea at the first chance. Well, they would have to take all of Happyface with them because everybody there now is really just a giant Chosen Family. But wherever they go (outside of Korea), they will be just fine. I was about to say 'Come to the United States' but that is really presuming a lot so I won't say they would HAVE to move here. Just, someplace BESIDES Korea, so they can actually be successful and respected with their sound instead of having to fight the system so hard. Gahyeon spent time growing up in the Philippines, Dongie is obviously Chinese so she is allowed to go home if she wants... Just...MAN, these ladies need to be allowed to catch a break more often than just once every five years...

I just want to say that 20 April 2022 is just Monumental... in SK that day #Dreamcatcher1stWin trended for hours and even shooked the Industry with massive media coverage that usually only the BIG 4 Artist gets showered at them, or when there is a major scandal... Worldwide Online News Article also wrote about it... that day I cursed a lot as I cried with happiness and spitting slurs while pointing my middle finger at those haters and those who underestimate Dreamcatcher's potential for all those years... a great release for my pent-up feelings inside... it's been over one year already but I still kept repeating the first win speech occasionally and still get teary-eyed every time.

"Maison" is part 1 of the Apocalypse trilogy. Dreamcatcher are touching on a very important subject here. Maison is French for "house" or rather "home", and they are singing about everyone's home, which is our planet. Previously they talked about online hate, now they are tackling an issue that impacts the whole planet and therefore everyone. Climate change is going to affect all of us, and it is already affecting many people. Island Nations will disappear under the ocean ("Save my home in the ocean"). Ice melts in the arctic and displaces people ("Save my home in the polar"). Forests get decimated by corporate greed and habitats get destroyed ("Save my home in the jungle") and disappearing glaciers and snow packs result in even less water for deserts ("Save my home in the desert"). People have a natural tendency to ignore issues that seem to be in the future - but climate change is here, right now. We can't wait anymore, and it is good that Dreamcatcher use their platform to promote change: "Break your habit now!" Musically I really enjoy the song. Like in BEcause, the rock/metal vibe is dialed back a bit, but it is still there and highly distorted. Although the more I listen to it, the more Rock I hear. I especially like how the pre-chorus and chorus seems to appear out of nowhere, the chord progression in the bridge, and the epic end part. The bass line is crazy as well. LEEZ and Ollounder (their producers) have done it again, and the members are just brilliant. Respect!

Yeah, it's like how the first three songs of the Nightmare Series were similar. The Dystopia series has that distinct similar sound that edm/electronic sound that sets it apart in their discography, and the Apocalypse trilogy also has its own sound. 😊

Can’t wait until you hear the full album, you’ll love it!!! Tree of Language was great and it was super unique how much they experimented, but Apocalypse: Save Us to me both feels more cohesive and really gives each member a chance to showcase what makes them special. And, it’s natural that you think Maison sounds like Vision - Vision is the second part of the trilogy that Maison started. This new comeback will be the third and final part! There’s no MV dance version for this one, as you thought. The whole thing was done during covid, so it’s entirely green screen, and the amount of editing that would need to be done for a dance version, with all the fast movements and hair flying around, would just be insane, so they skipped it. I’m glad you know about the Play Color performances though! It’s a shame they’ve only done Maison and Wind Blows because the videography and editing and styling are all just *pristine.*
