Their not changing pronouns could be as simple as "that's what the lyrics say, so that's what I sing". But, their intentional changing of some lyrics indicates that's not always the case. Either way, I agree with the video creator and with you that our girls' preferences are their business and that we should be happy for them with whatever path(s) they choose.

You’re absolutely right ! There’s been a huge debate on idols changing pronouns to songs they cover / some people like it and some don’t . I just wish people wouldn’t spend so much time on it & enjoy the cover 😊 But I’ll stand with whatever Dc does 👌🏼
