It’s so hard to choose the closest pairings given that they are all so close to each other. I think Siyeon/Yoohyeon are maybe the closest but they are really under the radar. They seem to be super clingy behind the scenes. Sua is also really close with Jiu and Dongie, and Yoohyeon/Dami are besties. It’s so rare these days that we get Suayeon moments. I swear they drop a crumb of togetherness and then we wait another 6 months for something 😭 But honestly I don’t think Sua adores anyone more than she does Siyeon. Her eyes just sparkle when she looks at her, it’s so sweet. I love them 🥺 I absolutely adore Sua’s dynamics with every member though. JiBo is like the ultimate ride or die BFF pairing, and they’re really bonded by shouldering responsibilities together. SuDong is also soft bestie vibes. Sua/Yoohyeon and Sua/Gahyeon give sister vibes, and there’s something special about Sua/Dami, where Dami just can’t help but be amused by Sua but in the most loving way. I also adore the closeness of Jiu/Siyeon and Dongie/Gahyeon. Honestly you can’t go wrong with any pairing.. they all love each other so much!

I think Siyeon and Yoohyeon connected over being reserved, Siyeon often talks about not being particularly close to non members and doesn't have many friends while Yoohyeon is very socially awkward to the point of never even inviting her friends for birthday parties as a kid because she genuinely believed they would not show up. I remember Yoohyeon once wrote a letter to Siyeon as trainees telling her she liked her best as a way to talk to her and they spent most of their post minx pre dc time together because of Siyeon's depression. There is just something so tender about their friendship. I feel like for Sua, Siyeon, Yoohyeon and Handong are all her happy pills in different ways. They just brighten her up so much and especially for Siyeon and Yoohyeon having someone like Sua who is so outgoing and bold is really good.

Sua being "strict" is partly just the fandom blowing things out of proportion imo lol. She takes most things in stride. If anything Jiu is just very open-minded compared to most Koreans in regards to honorifics. Always find it funny when Westerners seem annoyed with Sua when really none of her reactions have ever been that serious (and even those few times she's gotten "mad" the other members are still laughing.. If she was truly upset they would react a bit more seriously no?). Sorry for ranting but she is my ult bias and I feel i gotta defend my girl a bit😭 She's so loving and caring but because she puts a little weight on something (that 99.9% of other Koreans also do) some people find her "uptight" or whatever. Really silly in my opinion

Yes same here, Sua is my ult and it drives me nuts how people think she is actually rigid/strict! She totally plays up to the strict older unnie image but she’s not actually crazy strict or doesn’t seem to get mad for real. She trained the longest, she’s lived away from home from a young age, she’s super professional about working; and she’s worked/lived with a few youngins who are more open minded and flexible than most.. there’s no way they’d get along so well if she was inflexible/strict unnie.

That is exactly what I thought!! She did not look strict at all, maybe she cares a bit more than others about the honorifics but everyone was saying that she got mad or was really strict about the age and all that and I didn’t really see it in this video 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yoohyeon and Dami video just came out a month or so ago, and they're one of the Big Pairings haha. Wouldnt be surprised since Insomnicsy is a siyeon bias she saved suayeon for last.

I don't think "closest pairing" is really a thing. They all have unique relationships with each other. I think 2yoo (Yoohyeon and Dami) have always been very close since they were the two youngest and both 97 liners in minx. Siyeon and JiU have been roommates for over 10 years now. JiBo are the parent duo. JiYoo is probably up there with SuAYeon as the most popular ships. I love Dongies relationship with all of them. And the ones I haven't listed are so good too... They just love each other 😊

Yoohyeon and Gahyeon are the two that are most likely to get SuA on them because they are the ones most likely to not respect the hierarchy, but she's rarely mad about it for real. Dami tends to be a bit playful in a different way. Dongie has more leeway because she's a foreigner. Siyeon and SuA are usually on the same wavelength, and JiU is older than her and get away with basically everything. I've heard JiU is the original source of most intra-member teasing

Omg thank you so much for all the info, and sorry for the late answer, but the more I watch videos of the pairings, the more I notice you can pair anyone, and they have a lot of moments, and they are so close, and I love love love that so much I think the next chemistry video I am going to do is Yoohyeon and Dami! I am so curious about their dynamic! ❤

@@maesreacts_ I appreciate that you respond eventually even if it takes a while, it's absolutely no worries at all! Trying to stay on top of responding to KZbin comments sounds like an absolute nightmare to me... But i do sometimes leave you longer comments because you usually respond at some point 💛 I completely agree with you, every pairing is special. Some of them get shown off more because they might do things live more, or a particular clip might live rent free in my head, but that's just the parts of their lives they put on camera after all.

So the reason I came up with as to why Insomnicsy doesn’t have a SuaYeon chemistry video is because there are too many moments to be able to decide which ones to put into the video. Also Insomnicsy seems to still be doing chemistry videos(6 months ago released a JiYoo chemistry video and 1 month ago released a 2Yoo chemistry video) so chances are eventually they’ll release a SuaYeon chemistry video. So for 16:21 imo the closest duos are: JiSu/JiBo - (Jiu & Sua) SingJi - (Jiu & Siyeon) JiYoo - (Jiu & Yoohyeon) SuaYeon - (Video’s on them) SuDong - (Sua & HanDong) SuYoo - (Sua & Yoohyeon) SiYoo - (Siyeon & Yoohyeon) YooDong - (HanDong & Yoohyeon) DaDong/HanMi - (HanDong & Dami) GahDong - (HanDong & Gahyeon) 2Yoo - (Dami & Yoohyeon) Side note: So presently the duo that seems to be the closest from what I noticed imo is: SuDong I absolutely love how close Sua & HanDong have gotten nowadays especially because they’re one of my favorite duo’s in the group and I enjoy their dynamic with one another.

If you are looking for longer content (1 topic rather than compilations) thats really funny i can highkey recommend: When they made their own parody of a k-drama during covid. It has 2 parts and its so fuckin hilarious lskfjskljf it started as a suayeon project but then other ppl wanted to join in and others got roles too. The version i linked also shows the original drama scene to the side, that might be useful because dc takes on several roles per person and it could get confusing + u can see what they were imitating. These compilations missed, "the only thing here I can eat is you." There's a reason there's always at least one member between them at public appearances the last few years. To me they've always acted like a couple (including the annoying couple stuff nobody wants to see) rather than the queer baiting for cameras that is a lot more common.
