We've had concepts 100% unrelated with cutesy for just as long as cutesy's been out there, esp with the badass/hip hop concept being the current trend. If you were to say we haven't had a girl group with go so far with a creepy and dark concept since f(x)'s red light, then I'd agree (although that as well is up to debate, as Red Velvet always pops to my mind when creepy is mentioned, although they do it in a total different way from DC)

I wish too but it is unlikely but they have a solid fan base in Korea and a big fan base internationally so they are successful in a niche.
