the way I tell the difference from a big striper and hybrid is the a lateral line will continue on into the tail. usually a dark one in the middle and a few specs on the tail above and below.

Can confidently say as the local your referring to I’ve fished the lake for a few years now and top water bass up there is no secret. Had all the stuff tied on just working down the line of baits. Still working on finding huge mistake. All you did was save a couple mins before I threw a spook up there
@trollop48669 күн бұрын
Yeah it's weird af and ignorant to show up on a body of water and patronize the locals. Soft handed dudes try to do the same thing when they come out here, it's not rocket science 😂
@Calbea20079 күн бұрын
Funniest part to me was the “slab” crappie as they called em when they were barely legal

Nobody is patronizing locals! I had a blast with them, this is a title that's meant to make people watch. I had fun helping them, cheering on them and encouraging them.

Y'all were "throwing a jig, struggling" according to the kid up front. That was the "huge mistake" and I "tuned y'all in." Relax it's a title of a KZbin video lol!

You might should go crank or drag something out in the mouth of that hot water discharge rt outside no-wake buoy line. Look for the concrete coming out of water also along south bank inside the same buoy line. Bigger fish around/out there.

You had me right up until the Livescope. You’re right, it hit the Bass fishing industry, and not in a good way. Your guide work sounded great, using the “old school” fishing ways. Then the Livescope.

Since 9/11 you can't get anywhere close to the nuclear plant. Use too you could drive up in there and park in the parking lot and go fish right at the discharge pipe no barriers or nothin. Same with a boat, you could pull all the way up in there to the pipe. Now they got fences and razor wire, armed guards with bomb sniffing dogs at the gate and they ain't playin bout it neither. Just some useless info but there are ALWAYS snakes out there no matter time of year. I use to go there all the times cause as you can see it's excellent fishing and I caught some huge catfish on both the inlet and outlet sides. Inlet is usually pretty swift and hard to keep it on bottom.
