THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE BLACK COMMUNITY DOESNT NEED…. WHAT THE BLACK COMMUNITY NEEDS ARE FAMILIES LEAD BY MEN….BLACKS ARE THE ONLY RACE OF PEOPLE THAT NEED MENTORS FOR THE YOUNG BECAUSE WOMEN DONT KNOW HOW TO CHOOSE MEN AND GET PREGNANT FROM WHOEVER CUMS IN THEM….THIS DUDE IS FUCKING LOST…JUST GOING THRU LIFE???? AND HE HAS A SON….A SON AND A MAN WITH NO PLAN…. NOTHING MORE THAN ANOTHER RECIPE FOR DISASTER…. THE FACT THAT HE HAD TO BE TOLD IN JAIL NOT TO BE TELLING OTHER MEN TO SUCK HIS DICK SAYS A LOT….WHITE LIBERALS KILL ME…THIS GUY WOULD NOT BE AROUND ME… AS A 53 YEAR OLD BLACK MAN, I DIDNT FUCK WITH THESE KIND OF DUDES WHEN I WAS IN MY 20s AND I HAVE NO PITTY OR REMORSE FOR THEM….AND FORVA MAN TO LEAVE AFTER 14 YEARS SPEAKS VOLUMES ABOUT THE WOMAN….MEN DONT JUST LEAVE WOMEN….THE BLACK COMMUNITY CAN FIX ITS ISSUES IN ONE GENERATION IF THEY WANTED TO…BUT WE RATHER DOUBLE DOWN ON STUPIDITY….

I’m and black woman who’ll be 43 in a couple weeks. I fish open face by the way 😂 On a bass boat from sun up to sun down rain or snow. But I just wanted to say thank you. Thank for just being a good human. Thank you for being colorblind. Thank you for taking time to teach but also learn. Thank you for being a friend and role model to this young man. I can’t tell you the amount of respect and I love I have for you. It means a lot to me that you did this and I don’t even know either of you. The least I can do is subscribe. You’ll always have my support. Salute! 🫡🤍 To Brandon, God has a plan for you. You play an important role in His will. This is why you are still here. His love, grace, and mercy was on every bullet so that NO weapon formed against you would ever prosper. God gave his life for you, now give Him yours and not to these streets. Be a “fisher of men”. Praying for you. Reel him in Lord. ❤

2x convicted felon & ex-banger here. I grew up fishing with my pops. Lost the motivation when my parents got divorced and my pops went to prison. After years of me running in the law, too.. I slowly got back into fishing. It helped save me from the streets. Not to mention.. KZbin also played a huge role. I actually started by watching "Lake fork guy" and "1fish1rod" back before googansquad was even created. Crazy how much inspiration content creator's have. As of today.. I had got my G.E.D, my Diploma, Went to college, was a temporary youth mentor, and was even in my local news paper for my accomplishments. This year I started a lawncare business as a solo labor/owner. Called "Earlybird Lawncare" here in Kennewick, Washington. Just trying to save up the money to invest in stuff I need. Itll come in time. Because at the end of the day.. All praise be to GOD. Many of my people are strung out, locked up, or dead. I actually have a old homie who just got murdered in a mass shooting. (Rest Easy Bookie) Time can be short. So tread lightly and keep your head up✊🏽

I grew up without a dad and my mom was barely there. And for this man to take his valuable time for me. To keep me off the streets. I owe him my life. I could of been dead countless times. But because someone actually cared about me and some of the other kids In my neighborhood. He actually saved our lives. Now I am 39 yrs old with 2 beautiful children. LOVE this!! I'm retired now but as a Social Worker I worked with kids in big trouble...jailed, kicked out of school...around the Pensacola FL area..I always asked these kids if they had ever been fishing, tubed down the river etc..always same answer: NOPE. I discovered the 100 Black Men in my area...men who took kids fishing etc etc etc!!! WONDERFUL !!! So even tho I"m retired now, I keep my mission going ...raising awareness for 100 Black Men in the area, and helping them with supplies etc etc ( fishing poles, busses, etc ) Check out some of the churches in your area where there is alot of crime, and you will find some mighty-fine churches dedicated to giving struggling families a better life! All kids are OUR kids. Thanks SO MUCH for sharing this video Frostin' Austin!!!! YOU ROCK, MAN !! And BRANDON....you hangin' with the right crowd now!!!

Of course the teen boys that I worked with, responded very well to my help, understanding and maternal nature, and we had an awful lot of FUN. I just kept on the path of treating others the way i want to be treated and everything slowly got better. I didn't sleep at night for 15 years. In just the last 5 years have I been able to sleep through the night. My dad took my sister and I fishing when we were little girls. He taught us to put on bait, cast, and how to clean the fish. I still love being out on the water fishing. The simple pleasure of being in the sun, feel the breeze, and floating on the water is a spiritual experience for me. When i saw the young man riding to the fishing spot with his head back, eyes closed, and a smile on his face i know he knows what I'm talking about. Nature is healing, life fades away for awhile, and you are truely living in the moment, not just passing time or being entertained.
@XxsteamerxX
@XxsteamerxX 16 күн бұрын
What a beautiful summary of the experience. You are spot on. I caught the same image of him soaking it all in. He even cried a little (possibly from the wind in his eyes). But that's the exact feeling I got every time. My dad took all 5 of us kids out on his boat all the time. But for me and him, it seemed to be more than just a day out. There was a deeper bond and connection made. Long after the rest of the kids stopped going, it would be just the 2 of us. We would talk about life, our experiences, swap stories. I learned so much from him. I remember laying on the inboard cover with my hat over my face and a rod in my hand. If I caught one, awesome! If not, still awesome. When he got rid of his last boat about 10 yrs ago due to mechanical issues and he was too old to fix it or get another, I missed it so much. So I got a small boat and took him out. The sun in our face, trading stories, him watching me share techniques he didn't know about... Life and all its problems was boiled down to a boy and his dad out on the water. I wouldn't trade it for the world. It's my go to for a refresh. I get out on my kayak and drop a line. Spend a day on the water.

Quite a bit of “white savior” stuff in this comment section, it’s giving very much the real Michael Oher story in here 😂😂 but like the movie version says, they could likely be changing each other’s lives for the better! & the amount of folks in the comments I can tell dont know blk ppl love to fish 😅 when I say blk ppl love to fish, blk ppl LOVE to fish! 😂 Or many of the blk ppl I know do anyway, & I can’t really place his accent yet I aint listened to much yet & it’s very early in the am for me rn, but he def sounds like he’s from the south, I’d be shocked if he hasn’t fished before. I do think the channel is doing a good job from what I’ve seen so far not making it seem like white savior-ish, but the comment section... whew!

I don't hate much of anybody other than people who prey on the weak. But as a society we need to lift each other up and stop fretting over things that don't matter whether that be race, religion or sexual orientation. When I’m fishing I talk to a bunch of people I probably would never have spoken to if I didn’t fish.

Thought that thumbnail title was some ruthless clickbait and I almost skipped the vid. Glad i gave it a chance. I had a smile on my face the whole time fishing. Then some great conversation, too. Good for you Austin. Making a difference..and at the same time being fortunate to be able to spend time with this special kid. Way to go Brandon. You rock. You beat my PB, too! Haaha. Hell of a fish. Thanks for sharing guys. Deserves all the recognition it’s getting.

It is click bait. Because he know racism would have got him views because they would rush to the video. So it is definitely click bait. He could have just made a regular fkn thumbnail and video title he know what he doing

My best friends a black guy from the hood. It feels good to have a friend who appreciates things others take for granted. I value our friendship the most, he's the one to show up first when I call.

Probably my favorite episode!! I come from a similar background and it's nice to see other people make it out alive because there's sooo many solid dudes that didn't. The "life" is no place to be ! Glad to see that young man doing better and being a productive member of society addict's aren't bad people and until you've experienced fighting/beating that MONSTER you'll never understand just how hard it is 11yr 1mo 9days sober

The light you created into this young man's soul. I loved seeing him experience so many first that you exposed him to, you'll have a special place in his heart forever. I thank you for showing him how much of life he has yet to see.❤

All a city kid needs is one day camping, fishing, hunting or whatever. That's all it takes to change a life. This is soooo inspiring. The question becomes, What can I go do now?
