Kashmir has a history of violence and extreme bloodshed. It was the only place in Hindustan, which had only pandits. Mass killing and torture was adopted by Aurangzeb for conversion. He believed that if Kashmir hindus would convert, the rest of the country would follow suit. Every Kashmiri Muslim family has bloodshed and violence in it's history.
