How can this guy only get 120 likes on this video?? Truly a skilled craftsman and no one is giving him his due credit?? Sadness 😢

That's a pretty fast bow! Excellent build. I like those snaky bow shapes when following the grain.

Nice looking build. I'll have to try one of these this summer! My nephew has lots of ash trees in his log piles. Love the use of Heart wood too. Thanks for the free to me information.

Mollegabet Bows look really coll what are the durability, strength, quality, Etc. Benefits of building this bow rather than any other

It's one of the historic designs. Stiff and light levers / tips if build correctly might be very beneficial for bow's performance. For some bow woods it's a great choice. A lot depends on details of the design like length of working part of the limb or lever thickness - if it will be beneficial or not.

If you go by what Tim Baker says about bow design in Trad. Bowyer's Bible, it has to do with the angle between the string and the bow tips at full draw. As that angle gets bigger the bow "stacks" more and efficiency of the bow goes way down...that's my story, and I am sticking to it.

Think how much better your bows might be if you would slow down!

Hey Steve, dummy, he's speeding up the recording. He is not actually moving that fast. Nice bow by the way. I think Tim Baker has made quite a few of those. I seem to recall that design from "the Traditional Bowyer's Bible vol. 1"
