I LIKE that theater! Front speaker placement is awesome man. Love that lighting around the screen, and that homes come with a dedicated theater room. That Rocks!

What is up with the ceilings in these homes? First thing I would do is get rid of the vaulted ceiling and also soundproof the room. Then paint it a dark color! Then add some acoustic treatment! If you have the money do the room right before you add the media! If you don’t have the money then this is fine🤷🏻♂️

Don’t endorse people moving away from physical media, we are so far away from actually being able to transmit the amount of data needed to replicate a physical disc audio and video quality, it doesn’t just rely on the individuals internet speed but also the streaming company’s speed and server, these casual streaming viewers are killing the home theater audio and video enthusiasts, love your stuff though! Keep up the good work

Scott Tilden I have a 1gb connection and I still get clipping on a variety of gradient colors and more loss audio, a 4K blu Ray most commonly has a bitrate or 108mbit/sec, Netflix recommends an internet connection of at least 26mbit/sec which means it’s really probably less than that, that’s common across the board

What's the size of the room? It kills me a little your customers aren't putting in blu-ray players haha. What happens if they have to get to that door? Transforming screens would be awesome!

I really love this “Dream Media” and I don’t want to unsubscribe, but is Klipsch the only speaker on the planet earth. What about “Kef”,, “MagnaPlaner” “B&W” “Boston acoustics” “Thiel” Etc,,,etc.

It feels like you never install white screens even though you’re almost always in dedicated / light controlled theater rooms. Is the reduced viewing angle worth the ambient light rejection?

Great Job again guys, I have one question though Why do you not promote dual subs a lot more, especially since most of your builds are in wall speakers. I can only assume the crossover on these speakers are pretty high somewhere around 100hz above. Dual Subs would make complete sense in this scenario, giving a a better seat to seat bass consistency , smoother tighter bass with less nulls in the room, slighter higher SPL, and most importantly especially with high crossovers less localization

What do you think of a ceiling with ceiling tiles vs sheetrock? its a basement and I have lots of plumbing pipes etc that ceiling tiles would give me access in case needed...thanks

Laurence LoScalzo Jr. Go to www.avsforum.com and have a look at what others have done before. Be careful though as you will see theatres there that will blow you away. I got all my ideas from the site when building my last 2 theatres.

I would paint that room a dark colour and get rid of those LED's around the screen...other than that he's got a decent little setup..

I’m sorry, but did you play that Dolby atmos demo from KZbin? That’s not in atmos format? KZbin is stereo sound, even if the Denon receiver up converts it it sounds awful. not that a user could tell from KZbin but I just found that kinda funny. Hope you gave your customer a proper atmos demo, nice work otherwise :)

What is it with people? More so Americans setting up, they are determined to set Apple TV’s or NVidia Sheild etc etc RIGHT on top of the AVR? I know this particular guy is going to get a rack, but there are absolutely loads of Americans doing this. These avrs get super hot, and thats before you consider any electronic interference, scratches on all the equipment and so forth. Come on.
@ProPatria19795 жыл бұрын
And again. KZbin includes 2.0 sound and you test atmos setup with that? Even i have atmos and dts:x test blu-rays and everybody who builds these theaters should have them too. Not some crappy youtube 2.0 track.

Also a joke for me. They are the only HT installer use KZbin to test dobly atmos. Can u teach me how to use KZbin test DOBLY ATMOS.?LOL

why spending a crazy ton of money on speakers, a native 4k projector. But dont invest in any hard copy blu rays. I mean otherwise a cheap set would suffice. You get this stuf to enjoy the full potential off a movie. And the only way to get that. Is to a download a blu ray bd25,Bd50, uhd 66, uhd 100. Or buy them. What a waste.
