The organist at St Patrick’s Summer Hill sang this at my Zio’s funeral. It was a simple organ and voice arrangement. He was brilliant and he showed how the song works as simple canzonetta . Personally I think the simpler the better. But this is magnificent. RIP Zio Nino.

Happy to share, hope you checked out the poem and enjoyed it :) By the way, this is not the song referred to in the poem -- though both have the same sentence "do not forget me". The actual song in the Bulwer-Lytton poem is from an opera called Il Trovatore, by Giuseppe Verdi. Though I must say I find this song is more beautiful!
