閃光一號陪伴我的學生時代，1977年買的那時隨便每支木紋都很漂亮，那個檜木的香味尤其人難忘。可惜89年打球時拍子撞到球桌裂成兩半，沒能留到現在。

我的閃光一號是30年前買的，很多年沒有打球，去年再拿出來練球，被球友強力擊球飛過來打壞我食指扣住的軟木塞上方，剩下一半的高度可以扣住，請問是否建議換新軟木塞？

Hi, greetings from Brazil :) It's really kind sub all your videos, I had to subscribe because its always cool learn about blades and their history. I didn't have a Senkoh 1, but on my club few players had it, It was a very dynamic blade good for attack and really controled to defend, I really loved it, but it already was hard to find one at the time I was younger, now It's kinda impossible find one on Brazil. Nowadays I'm sticking with my +- 2006 old J-pen Darker Speed 15, which is a good blade, very superior to my c-pen J-Speed 90, which has nice grain pattern and weight, but it vibrates a lot and thats kind annoying

Thank you for your subscribe Yes, it's really hard to find a Senkoh 1 nowadays, the c-pen J-Speed 90 was 8.5mm which caused that problem; there were some 9mm and 10mm of c-pen J-Speed 90 in China and Taiwan, which can avoid the vibration; another reason that causing the problem is the shape of a c-pen is larger than the j-pen, which will exaggerate the vibrates, and it will be more obvious on single ply Hinoki blade.

@@dreamer21tabletennismuseum my speed 90 is a 9mm one, I think that's the shape of the blade such unfortunate causes this, the speed 90 shakehand I played a little didn't have this problem, but the shape is a little small. I saw some senkoh 1 clones from American hinoki (or PP, I really don't remember), they looked very beautiful like the first version of senkoh 1, the hinoki looked fine, but I don't think it is from kiso. I almost bought one just because the similarity to the senkoh which is very beautiful

The first version of c-pen speed 90 is with a smaller shape, they changed the shape to a larger size in the later version, and it causes this problem. Of course the American hinoki and PP are not using kiso, but I know some Taiwan brand J-pen is with kiso.

@@dreamer21tabletennismuseum Yeah, I think my c-pen speed 90 is overall bigger than the original ones, it has the same shape size than the actual Stiga Clipper c-pen which is kinda big. I had contact with a shakehand speed 90, from 2000 decade, and the shape is a little smaller, overall is a pretty much better blade than my c-pen, no vibration at all, excellent blade, but my friend doesn't want to sell it to me hahahaha. And yeah some PP blades are said that uses taiwanese yellow hinoki, but I've never saw one on my hands, It's just the the item description, and they look heavy and that's a pity because I don't like heavy blades to play

The PP blades not using very high graded Taiwan hinoki. There are two kinds of Taiwan hinoki, red and yellow; the Taiwan red hinoki is lighter in weight and have soft hand feeling, but the Taiwan yellow hinoki is very powerful.

玄靜和出度擦亮了我的眼睛 當年的我才中一 買了第一支日板閃光5 教練是打閃光一 也要我打閃一 木紋非常漂亮 打斷了三支 那個年頭很多人用用日直 記得比閃光一厚的還有閃光RX 閃光RS 在當年這兩支拍是加厚1mm 是當時最高速的球拍
