What about that great amount of scotch tape? Does it not carbonise and shortens the wires, was that used resistor wire not burned/oxidised to break?

قطع کردن سیم و بریدن ان باعث ضعیف شدن و درنتیجه سوختن در زمان کوتاه تر. پس بهتره است موقع تعمیر سیم دوباره به همان اندازه. قبل باشه

Please just tell me the resistence wire that makes heat. Is that long one under and on the writing paper or the last one that gather the tube together? And pleae tell me the measure of the first thin wire that is vonvenient to a 5 volt soldering

It's nichrome wire with can also be found in toasters and hair dryers. I can't help you with length though

I fix my soldering iron, i replace the cord and it work, It's healthy now, the copper from the inside came out of the wire so i switch to the new cord, i twisted it and put duck tape around it. Damn I shouldn't have thrown out my other soldering iron. Oh well i buy another one.

Jajajajajajaja que ingenuo, vea el vídeo bien, el papel y la cinta adhesiva es para facilitar el trabajo hermano, la resistencia quedaron aislada en su totalidad, una vez que prende el cautín quema el papel y la cinta adhesiva y las resistencias quedan montada sobre los aislante térmicos... Sea un poco más cursioso y no menosprecie el esfuerzo y técnicas de otras personas...

It appears that simple paper has been used with Fevicol type glue to fix it. I understand that paper is good as insulating material but can't stand the temperature in the soldering iron. I have repaired soldering iron elements several times, but I preferred to reuse the mica sheet layers. Any views of yours.

I've used normal paper just rewire. Also the mica Paper layer under the normal paper. When the iron hot then the normal paper will burn.

the video is crap. you only show one of the two wires being connected to the coil. the other one appears to go up inside the tube but unclear as to what or where it attaches. Also, it is not clear how the tip is even getting hot, since there was no connection made that could be seen in your video. thanks for wasting my time
