I just happened to tune into your channel because I have always wondered about Tiny houses. I had an aunt who lived in a garage in someone's back yard in the 60's. Back then people made me feel sorry for her. I always wanted them to come in so they could see how beautiful it was inside. Now seeing the growth of the tiny house. I am very proud of her. Later she married and inherited a 2-story house from her husband and allowed someone else to move into her garage and her second-floor apartment. You remind me of her because no matter what knocked her down, she always got up in a better place than before using her situation to motivate others. ❤

Love your life style. Love your tiny house and love your design ideas and concepts of freedom. I really wanted the same thing. I could not find land so I took my $219,000 and bought instead a four bedroom home for $86,000. I had to bid against two other people ending in a price of $90,000. Then talked the owner down to $86,000. Unknown to me the property had hidden inside the walls $85,000 dollars worth of structural damage. Yes, I had a inspection and a contractor for a second opinion to go over cost. I did not realize the realtor was working with the buyer who was also the listing agent and business partners with the management company that handled renovation.They wanted a cash buyer who did not need bank financing. I was foolish not to get a appraisal. And the market of real estate was at the time kind of crazy. Now I am going into a big law suit. I feel ashamed and embarrassed. My first house purchase a disaster. I must start again. Investors will only pay $65,000 so far for my current property. Not enough to buy land or build a tiny home.

So very sorry to hear of this experience, no need to be embarrassed or ashamed, this happens frequently! In addition to the lawsuit and if you haven't already, I'd definitely report the realtor to the real estate board for unethical conduct and also go to the news with your experience - often times bad press and exposure make people respond and try to correct a situation in hopes it will go away. Hoping this turns out well for you and sending you good energy for a positive result!
