Love all of these ideas. I actually just finished making my own Madame Leota following Flossie and Flair's tutorial using that doll head and the $5 Dollar Tree crystal ball they had out this year. I completely spray painted the hair and face, then painted over the face with the lighter color, but then had to redraw the eyes in and duh just realized I painted her lips and teeth red. Wish I had watched your video before doing that but she still came out really cute. No idea why didn't occur to me the gap was her teeth. Keeping her original doll eyes would have been far better. I think I'll try your Madame Leota Funko house next. Thanks! 👻👻👻

Oooo I’ll have to check out this other channel! My bonus sections are pretty empty unfortunately. Honestly I wouldn’t worry about not painting the teeth, she’ll just have a little lip filler 😜 😂

👻💜👻🧡👻💚👻 awesome you know I do small projects like this for horror like the sets of the movies and houses to display hanging or on a shelf…I haven’t done for awhile but it’s time to get my crafts out of the shed and start crafting lol! You definitely gave me ideas for Disney especially haunted mansion and my favorite ride Matterhorn well one of my favorites at Disneyland. 👻 Such creative ideas! Just a tip to share: when using stencils, first paint over the stencil with your original background color, midge podge if using plain wood/unpainted surface. (Probably good to let it dry.) Then paint with the color you want to use for the lettering &/or image. The background color will be the one to bleed if there is any bleeding and will therefore be “invisible”.

Omg! That’s so cool! I definitely have to try it out thanks for the tip!! 💜

@@DreamItDIY I found that tip after I totally messed up a project I was making as a favor for my SIL on a stained wood board. Haven’t done any similar projects since, but it makes sense, so I think it should work.

Excellent ideas!! And the Leota you made is prettier than the ones they sell. I am going to take a crack at that sign. Happy Halloween Season! This is where the ghost emoji should go but it’s not coming up on my iPhone

👻 she says these are easy crafts?! I thought, maybe I could do one! Nope, no way,no how! I just finally figured out how to make the ghost emoji! Lol We all have different skill sets and mine do not lie this way. My grandparents could do any type of handicraft-crochet, knit, cross stitch, petit point, exquisite beading with those tiny seed beads, sewing, wood working, you name, they could do it! They tried to teach me and I failed them all. Up to that point no one had ever failed when they taught them. It’s just not the way my brain is wired. And don’t have the time or space to do it. With 22 animals ( and another 2 coming tomorrow despite not wanting anymore), I can barely keep up with their upkeep. Winter has started here. Got our first snow here even while forest fires still burn away around us.

We ran to the dollar store after watching this video to get some stuff for our Harry Potter trunk or treat and happened to find the head in the $.50 bin… figured it was a sign so we grabbed it and a snow globe. We are excited to get to do this craft in the future!
