I went in April 2023 and I found the food to be extremely average which I feel has become the norm for resort food. The buffet was always the best option. We walked down the beach to get seafood at Castaway’s which was very reasonably priced.

This is the 3rd resort I’ve stayed at in DR and I completely agree with you; food is average.

Yea the food was okay, except the Mexican restaurant. I really like the food there

I went here with my girlfriend about 2 years ago. the experience was really good overall, I'd give it a 4/5. Only things really were some of the restaurants being closed and the food quality being 7/10 overall, not great, but not bad either. What is crazy is that the price of the resort has more than doubled now... Definitely not worth the price point. We paid around $1500 USD in January of 2022.

I agree about the food; it’s not bad but there’s something about it I can’t quite figure out lol. And I find travel in general has gotten expensive. A resort I stayed at earlier this year has gone up a few hundred dollars per person for the same dates in 2024 🙄
