It doesn't talk about the bible but about the Torah and the Gospel that have been revealed to the previous prophets. This verse is calling the people of the book to believe in all the books,and what ALLAH has sent down on the prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him),the Quran,like the Muslims do believe. Because denying those scriptures (Torah and Gospel)brings to kufr(كفر),disbelief because it is part of faith to believe in the books that ALLAH revealed like the prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)said in Sahih Muslim 8a and in book reference,book n°1 Hadith 1. So it is not about bible that has been corrupted,but about the previous and original books revealed on the respective holy prophets. Father sacrificed his righteous son for the forgiveness of sins. You’re applying that the Father and the Son are the same person which is not what Christians believe. Without shedding of the blood there is no forgiveness. The sacrificing is throughout the bible even in the quran. Its also one of the reasons u celebrate eid al adha. So stop the hypocrisy. Christ died for u for forgiveness of sins.

I heard brother shamsis response to answer the question regarding the shahaadah in the Qur'an and the pillers... I said to myself, MashaAllah, he answered the questions perfectly well MashaAllah and then Bob (real name John) said something like "again, he still hasn't answered the questions"... I was like "whaaaaaaaaat" SubhanAllah. He just wanted to hear "it's not in the Qur'an" so he can deceive himself and others to believe that he's got a seriously good point... But shamsi made it clear... Qur'an states we follow Muhammad SAW and refer to him... He taught us the pillars, all of which is explained in detail in the Qur'an... He just doesn't want to lose a debate or admit he no longer has a point. can't he just say, ok, I see and understand your point? Why must he try and win so desperately? It's not sincere at all. No wonder shamsi keeps walking away. It must do your head in to talk to such a person who deliberately refuses to understand your point so you must keep making it until you're blue in the face. @@cotdd the concept of the shahadah is in the Qur'an... To worship Allah alone and to believe that Muhammad SAW is the final prophet. This is in the Qur'an. The shahadah is declaring it out of faith and the Qur'an tells you to believe that. The argument is, the trinity, one in three and three in one and all are coequal, is not in the Bible and we are talking about the concept... We are not talking about the word shahadah or trinity, we are talking about the concept. To say the concept of shahadah isn't in the Qur'an is silly... And it's only an argument because someone pointed out that the trinity (it's concept and foundation) isn't in the Bible. The trinity is a made-up concept that came out 300 years after Jesus from the council of Nicaea who didn't get it from the Bible... It was just made up... The shahadah came from... Muhammad.... At the time of the Qur'an's revelation... And the concept and foundation is in the Qur'an to believe in the two principles of the shahadah. So, in reality, the question "is the shahadah in the Qur'an" is a weak response of denial (no offense) because the trinity can not be concluded from the Bible. So instead of just answering where it is in the Bible, the escape response is to say shahadah isn't in the Qur'an... That's why Bob wasn't willing to understand and answer because it's a failed cause to argue for.

Shamsi's point was very great. Bob said muslims ask him about specific stuff in the bible so why cant he ask about specific stuff in the quran. Shamsi said that the Bible isnt just the word of god it has 4 different authorities. So when Muslims ask Christians about something in the bible its like a christian asking a muslim something about the bible AND THE HADITH. The questions Bob were asking can be found in the Quran and in some cases clarified by hadith
