I wasn't even 10 years old in the 90s, but these tunes are absolutely stompin'. For all you old school ravers out there, don't lose hope! There are still some of us young people who love the old school vibe! I'm totally waiting for there to be a pure old school hardcore rave near me, no CDJs allowed :P

@@2009stryka 100% a studio mix. I was there. I don't remember the exact Jolly Roger tune he dropped in his set, but I remember it was a bitch to mix and the way he cut it in was amazing. Was very excited to get the tape and hear it again...but alas, they forgot to start the DAT recording for his set so we got this (still awesome) mix.

Came back for a chuckle at the hilarious Arsewipe intro. Stayed for the whole set. Was so glad I was lucky enough to be there that night - hardcore was my chosen soundtrack back then and burnt so, so many fantastic nights listening to it under those manic strobes with thousands of like minded. Memories memories. This was my first rave at the butter wouldn't melt age of 16. I can remember walking into the main arena when I first got there and hearing visa's I can't stop raving :) such a good night so sad it was the last REAL dreamscape but I owe my raving experiences to people like murray a true visionary :)

I can remember getting there to a really small queue, where as at Helter Skelter you could wait 3 hours to get in. Soon worked out why, after about 5 minutes, the Police all got called off somewhere and the management opened all the gates and told everyone to get in as quick as possible! haha Happy daze.

YEAH!!! This guy gets it! Sparshott11, New Skool ravers like yourself (...who aren't shy about finding out where or how this music originated ((...Club Labrinth in London, UK, early 1990's, when it started to evolve from 'Acid House')), are the main reasons why this music will always 'live on'. I've said it before, and again now- "We didn't have 'good' music in the 90's... We had 'FUCKIN GREAT' music in the 90's!
