This man releases tracks that are 5 minutes long!!! And YET they never get tiresome, repetitive, or boring! The pure musicality and creativity on display here is beyond master-class. Truly. There's literally nothing holding him back. He could use samples of dogs farting and it wouldn't make a difference because the foundation is all there. I can't wait for what Fod brings us next.

Bro 5 minutes? You really cant chill and listen to something for linger than 3 mins I dont want to start a flame war I'm just asking. I love all kinds of music but I frequently listen to stuff that goes on for quite longer. Some grateful dead and phish songs can go for an hour. Many dj mixes are like seamless and effectively sound as one song for a long time. I always wonder when I hear or read stuff like this , what's the rush? Music is the best thing in the world why not get into some lonnnnnnnng songs the journeys you can and will go on are incredible.

I'm not sure either, but i think it's that the numbers and combinations in the screen are meant to emulate the way 8-bit music was actually made. They represent a specific sound and their respective tone, pitch, etc. that gets pulled and played from a set soundbank when the line is executed
@blahuhm67824 жыл бұрын
It's not Famitracker, it's probably OpenMPT or one of the many MANY tracking programs out there. this style of music creation has been in use for decades, and is not limited to 8-bit video game styles. Basically, anything can be made in it. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music_tracker

This makes me think of a story, of a man that's ostracized by society, and the only comfort he gets is by visiting his dreamworld. In this world, he is like everybody else, living as one should be, not wealthy nor poor. He keeps visiting this world even if during his work as a security guard. He dreams that he is a guard that protects a small town, and he is in love in this one peasant girl. He wants to confess his love to this girl and decides to do it once he falls asleep tonight. He then confessed to this girl that she likes to which the girl whispered, "Took you long enough" and he has awoken from his dream. He looked around him but strangely, he was sitting, leaning on a stone well in an unknown place. People around him looked at him strangely and pointed at him, or more precisely, his clothes. He looks different than anyone when he looked around, everywhere he looked, it looked like his village before it accepted products from other areas, no electric cables, unkept road, wooden houses, and their old style clothes. He wondered where he was and stood up. It was then that a girl walked up to him and asked him who he was. Strangely, he can understand her despite not hearing the language before. He spoke and said that he was -----------, but the girl seems to not have understood him. The girl then asked him where he came from and he answered, but the girl can't understand him so she gave up asking. She then asked him if he's hungry and he noticed he hasn't eaten yet so he shamefully held his stomach. The girl laughed and signaled him to follow her. The boy then walked together on the road while attracting gazes from the surrounding. Some are from guys due to the beauty the girl beside him posess, as if she is the goddess of beauty incarnate, but the rest is looking strangely or jealously to the boy, either because his appearance is weird or that he is standing beside the girl. While they were walking, he kept looking at her, as if he knew that face from somewhere... After a while, they arrived in a house. She invited him in and said that she'll get him water. He then entered and sat down in a chair, contemplating what the hell just happened. Is he dreaming? But he clearly woke up, and all his senses are functioning, and he sure do feel pain when pinching himself. While he was thinking, the girl came with a cup of water along with some bread. They continued talking again but this time the girl asked him to raise his right hand for no and left for yes. The girl then asked many questions to which the boy answered truthfully. After that, they somewhat feel comfortable with each other, as if they have already been with each other for a long time. The boy then asked the girl on how he could live in this town by signaling his arms, his hands clenching each other, punch boxing, his stomach, and eating. The girl got the gist of his actions and recommended to him becoming a guard in her town. The boy, with the helped of the girl, then lived with her while trying to learn their language, but until he learns it, he will continue to suffer being hard to communicate with. A year passed by and their relationship grew closer and closer. And the boy decided to confess his feelings to the girl tomorrow and falls asleep excitedly. He then woke up and walked up to the girl he loves, and confessed, to which the girl answered, "took you long enough" and the boy got a sense of deja vu and confused. He felt like he has heard this line before but where? Where did he hear it? The boy stood there in confusion, and the girl approached and hugged him, whispering in his ears, "wait for me". And he woke up. He doesn't know what happened but it seems like he couldn't enter his beloved dreamworld again, starting when he heard those words, "took you long enough". He is slowly losing his grip in life and feels like he should end it all. Then he ate breakfast, dressed up with a nice tie, and took his baton and whistle with him to work. He missed that world in his dream but it seems he can no longer enter it nor can he see the girl he loved, altough he could no longer remember her figure. While at work, he saw a lady walking towards him with a beautiful smile like the goddess of beauty incarnate, and... a tear in her eyes while looking at him. She then approached him and whispered at his ears, "I've come to receive your love here as well." I don't wanna expand this story since my brain can't keep up and I'm slowly but surely getting sleepy. If I use my brain too much, I may suddenly fall asleep so I don't wanna spend energy to expand the story. Just the outline. Thx for reading this questionable story of mine and bye. Oh, and this one is gonna be called "Dream Escape".

Ok. Hear me out. This song kinda sounds like a dream where you had the ability to fly, and flew to all the places you've been. Places as like you house, your parents' house, you name it. But even places that you dont really know. All you can recall of that place is that you've been there at one point of your life. You feel so happy to remember all these places but since all places you visit are empty, if feels eerie seeing these places empty instead of full of people like you remember so you fly back to the place you came from and float gently back down to your bed and waking up. Forgetting about the dream and moving on with your day
