this actually made me cry, remember when everyone was happy, smiling, prideful, confident, and happy for war. kept a smile and dude Wilbur's smiles made me cry in his l'manburg and pre-pogtopia era, so great and I honestly almost forget that l'manburg was almost a year ago. damn I love those block men, and block women and all block inbetweens. block games give me life and honestly, really the best thing in my life, ever. Tw - su*c*dal thoughts it's so weird how a block game can prevent suicidal thoughts, I used to think death was the answer and sorry if this is edgy just how my life went, and then I had an extreme change, I loved life and still do now and block games are my life. weird because I abandoned anime- kidding, nothing against anime. well except Jojo and naruto in my opinion I hate those animes.

yes this is exactly how i feel as well! (sorry this is kinda long ) i dont understand how a bunch of people roleplaying on a minecraft server can calm my anxiety so much. they mean so much to me and i love them so much. and yeah i miss it when they were all happy like, because i started watching early-mid august, when i think of lmanburg i think of it being summer, everyones smiling and everything is happy - i also think of niki's bakery a lot, the thought of it makes me happy and the fact she blew it up made me sad because there were so many memories :(. anyways, there is no major war currently happening and they're living a peaceful life. and then everything went downhill, the elections, schlatt won, tommy and wilbur exiled, and so on from that. i miss lmanburg so much, i wasnt even there for the start of it, but literally its just a place in a video game and it meant so much to me. i dont think lmanburg was ever the same after tommy and wil got exiled, obviously it was gone for good after techno, phil and dream blew it up like 2 weeks ago, but i think lmanburg died months ago even before wilbur blew it up. but yeah, i love these people so much. they're just people roleplaying on a video game, yet it really brightens up my day and gets me engaged in the story, like i genuinely could never get bored of it!! dream smp is so so amazing and its such a cool server with so many talented and lovely people

The atmosphere that this gives off reminds me of one of those movies that starts off with a short and vague telling of a story. It starts off happy, but ends in tragedy, which you dont know that until the tears are already falling down you face. By the time the end of the movie and the Narrator tells you the moral of the story plus why they are telling it, you're a mess in aheslthy kind of way. I personally think that the Dream Smp, the rp side of things, is something kin to therapeutic. Something that TV series and new movies seem to lack nowadays. Sure its 'Just a block game' and 'Grown ass men/women streaming' but something as obviously planned out and yet improvised as this creative story telling is something a lot of people crave, especially now days with Co-Vid and worldwide Quarantine. The interaction and bonds just pull at some unknown/unseen string. Hard to explain yet makes perfect sense sorta thing.

The changes they went through and everything they fought for and lost was put into this. Not to mention the fact you put in Eret's small speech. I really feel like this was probably one of the best dream smp animatics I have ever seen.

"Intro" is the perfect word for this: So epic, so sad, so magnificent and touching. Especially how you put Eret's(I guess) speech and make it sound more dramatic. Really feels like some intro with most dramatic dynamic and drama. Each character, even in background, has his own good design and emotions, which make this absolutely amazing. Great, no, Greatest work in your channel for sure, cause this makes you feel other people's lives, like your own.

When it says "old stories" and shows techno, it makes sense. Techno is the one person in the server who is always looking at the past, whether It be Greek myths (Theseus) or things that have already happened in the server ("Don't you see history repeating itself?")

I... love this audio?? It's so peaceful and serene, yet still has a hint of melancholy. This is technically just a block game, but these people have given it so much more meaning than just what it is. Cause yea, Minecraft is supposed to be a fun game where you fight mobs and build and gather resources, but it's also a perfect platform for these kind of wacky concepts.

I’ve watched this twice now, just to fully take in this work of art. The pacing, the storytelling; the way you built up the changes in character from the very beginning... there was this innocent playfulness in the beginning, like children playing pretend and going to ‘war’. But the minute betrayal happened the innocence was lost and there was no ‘pretend’. I love how you showed the growth of the smp and the introduction of new characters over time; I love the way you’ve created this idea of the early smp being this group of neighborhood kids that enjoyed being rivals with each other, but over time they’ve genuinely separated and now have animosity toward each other. You’re music choice and audio mixing is magical. It’s filled with emotion despite it being subtle; I feel like I’m watching a tribute to the death of a loved one, or more so the death of innocence and unity. I felt like I was holding my breath until the end, completely invested in the story. You’ve got a great talent for storytelling, and I’ll definitely be coming back to this vid. Awesome work.

I really love all the slight references to Sad-Ist's animatics when it comes to certain poses and framing (at least im assuming they were intentional) while still obviously making each frame/sequence your own. I also adore all the expressions and movements so much like what the heck every sequence looks so good!

ooooh YES this is WONDERFUL. I'd been hoping that someone would make something for Eret's speech over this song since I watched that stream, and you absolutely nailed this! it's so fitting as like a type of overture for the SMP's story, giving tribute and recognition to the characters and events that got us to where we are now. Your character design, posing, and expressions all tell so clearly the scenes or events being portrayed, and this was really lovely to watch, like a nostalgic and soft reminisce across how far we've come across the first season, even through all the hardships they've all been through. the syncing with the notes of the song with your art is so satisfying, and that last scene with the lineup of the characters with their expressions gives a perfect lil glimpse at each of them, and phil spreading his wings is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! ohhhhh boy this made me feel emotions, im definitely gonna watch this over again and again

I like that this wasn't really serious. This feels like people making stories, building characters and most of all having fun doing it. Because the DreamSMP is that, people coming together to make a story or multiple stories, showing what they can do, entertaining the viewers and....growing. This is really well done!! Words can't describe how incredible this is. This was one of those things that took my breath away almost as soon as it started, I could not take my eyes off of it the entire time it was playing. It's just.. the whole thing works so well together. The audio (which is awesome by the way), the character designs, the art style, the animation, the transitions, the colors, its just all so amazing. It makes it seem like this little minecraft roleplay is a real story, I feel like I'm watching the end of a movie, you know, where in some movies they kind of recap what happened at the end with a few scenes, with an emotional commentary and audio? That's what I get from this, and that's incredible. You know you're on the right track when an animation is able to give people so much emotion. I love it!
