Well said! I've also always been a fan of instrumental music. Ever since I was little, when my dad played his records (Vangelis, Jean-Michelle Jarre, ...) :) Even nowadays, I listen to all kinds of instrumental music. If you want something 'faster', you can always listen to some 'Uplifting Trance'. :)

OK, I use DAW, too (Reason 8), but I like real hardware... so I have an AKAI Miniak, Korg Microkorg, Waldorf Blofeld and Streichfett, Roland JV 1080, Korg X5Dr and M Audio Venom in Use... in combination with Mixer and Hardware FX from Lexicon. And I'm just expanding... but: Equipment isn't the key! Creativity is! And you've got a lot of it!!! Greetings from Germany

Although I've been a lifelong on again/off again bass player wanna-be (lol) I've always had an interest in synths. Sooooo, when I collected a settlement from an auto accident I bought a Krog Kronos (61) and a pair of PreSonus Eris 8" studio monitors, just to play around with sound shapes and tap out some self interested sounds, somewhere along your motif, if you will. Had a few older synths in the past I simply played around with. But the Kronos is a beast of a synth. Got a lot in my head to put out, just gotta keep at it and bang something out that flows to some degree. I have no keyboard/piano education...I just tap around and figure the next note, retain it and move forward with it. So given that, I admire your talent and your repertoire. At my age (64 as of today) I need to get down to it and make it happen...lol Thanks for all you create DL. It's enlightening.

+Randy Tellez in my setup I have a Yamaha Motif XF6, Korg X-50, and Roland Juno-G, but find myself spending most my money on VSTs these days. For about 11 years I was the keyboardist for a full live band I parted ways with and started teaching myself everything needed to write and record music all on my own (full life story bio on my website ha). Keep at it man, sounds like you have the gear, just need to pick one of those ideas and bring it to life! Would love to hear your work sometime.
