My God, this music. Your space ambient is so meaningful to people, I believe, because, while it remains cerebral, it also deeply touches the emotional. So much space ambient is purely cerebral, which is fine. But to fuse the cerebral with the emotional; this is a rare talent, and you have mastered it.

Hello Dreamstate, I just came here to thank you for another set of great tracks (Pulse of Awakening, Forgotten Planet, Phase Transition, Lost Sector, Toward The Light, Negative Space). This will be a hell of a trip. Long and lonely. But I love it. Dreamstate music will enhance experience lik it did on may this year when I visited California and Nevada. Can't wait! Your music is as wonderful and ethereal as the universe itself. Like the universe, we know it's there and we are mesmerized by it...but we can only begin to fully comprehend it. Also, it is something way beyond ourselves, something that can bring humanity together, if only for a moment... Keep up the wonderful work. :)
@Kanassatego5 жыл бұрын
Wish it were so. But the universe is neither wonderful nor ethereal. It is still exploding after the Big Bang. The universe is mostly very dark and very cold. And very, very dead. The "beautiful" stars are infernos, burning hydrogen and destroying everything in their vicinity. When our sun is done burning hydrogen, it will become a giant red star, which will annihilate all life on the only inhabited planet we know of. Also, the universe is almost always very, very quiet because almost all of it is empty, boring, unimaginably huge space. "Space ambient" is indeed very beautiful music (not always), but it has nothing to do with any "music" of outer space.
@kathyprior42815 жыл бұрын
@@Kanassatego I was merely being metaphorical when I mentioned his music reflects space We all now in reality that the universe is dark, quiet, but also chaotic, something that mankind can never fully comprehend. Yes, the sun will eventually die and the Earth will be destroyed, but we won't have to witness it. Another meaning of "beautiful," and "ethereal" from my perspective could also mean the great complexity of the universe itself. Even with explosions, there is a natural intensity about it that fascinates the human mind just as much as all things wonderful and full of life. Alas, when there is life, death must follow. I say we enjoy his music as much as we can, and when our time comes, we will all merge with the endless universe through our deaths.
@Ne0mega5 жыл бұрын
@@kathyprior4281 Or maybe we are the anomaly built to recreate universes. The universe is a big, cold boring place. And yet, it is our personal everything in the short time we have hear, and every moment we guard against death because it is so precious and complex. It is always amusing to see one claim the universe is lifeless an cold, when the only existence they could ever comprehened is this one. Life itself defies all laws of physics.
@jamesskinnercouk3 жыл бұрын
Beautifully put. I find this type of music helps to open up other aspects of myself that helps to reveal the universes hidden treasures, like eyes and ears within that are normally closed become open to reveal the hidden. The universe would appear cold, and dead to regular senses, yet when these inner senses are open the universe becomes a life rich environment full of great wonders that stretch across time, and space, it becomes home.
