The Dream Theater album Images and Words, released in 1992, was recorded at Bear Tracks Studios, a recording studio in upstate New York that was owned by Spyro Gyra saxophonist Jay Beckenstein. Beckenstein himself plays the soprano saxophone on the track Another Day, a ballad that guitarist John Petrucci wrote for his ailing father.

HUGE props to Jay Beckenstein from the jazz group Spyra Gyra who played soprano sax on this song. One of DT's first collabs.
