I hope this helped! Edit*: Unsheathe DOES somehow apply the [Vuln 2] stack to shielded enemies with ranged skills, it just won't add the extra 40% magic dmg attack. Meaning in PvP this season, where we all get a shield, it is actually very helpful towards your burst. This could possibly be used down the line to [Vuln 2] debuff phys/magic shielded enemies at range to amp your units going around their shields/cracking their shields. Great guide. Thanks for pushing this out! For trinkets, I like to run Origin Hourglass on him. The 2% (at 1 star) PATK and MATK bonus is nice, and immunity against move and speed debuffs is an added bonus.

i run him with magnus ,once i started doing that stages where you would die were a thing of the past i beat all three wepon trial stage 9's with those two as the core team

I found it very sad in the end for me they didn't know how to proceed with Dantalion, because he is a bit of everything, debuffer, buffer, healing, tank and dps, but he is so everything that he ends up being nothing, his main function initially the damage ends up losing space due to the issue of being everything, visually and this massive damage of his is incredible, currently my favorite character, but I'm sad that he didn't follow the path I expected, since he even seems to be a bait

Dantalion is for sure a great to have unit but this video just shows that he's a unit that you'd very much prefer randomly getting while chasing other units rather than chasing for him. This saves you the castallias that you would have spent so you can use him temporarily before he's phased out and turned into a literal aura bot. I just hope he gets a good alt that gives his base form a busted inheritable skill so he becomes relevant again in the future, and by relevant, something other than an aura bot. Or maybe he gets a busted signature weapon. Whichever one would be fine but either way, he's still gonna be that one unit you don't want to chase.

Some people wanted an Iria team. I guarantee my team of Inanna, Dant, Edda, Nungal is a good as any cole/beryl team you can make. And just wait until Sophia drops.

@@cedj4504 As I said, Dant is definitely nice to have. I run Magnus Nungal and soon Safiyah and Innana. So my team is literally Iria. But Magnus aura buffs Gloria, Col aura buffs Nungal. Safiyah+Nungal would most likely be busted enough to breeze through content even without Dant. Heck my Nungal is pretty busted as is. Point is, there's so many things in the game that work with and buff each other that not having Dant is not a big deal. Do I want him? Sure. If his banner is still active, would I pull for him? Definitely not. Basically everyone right now is saving for the Big 3 that will be releasing back to back, Safiyah/Auguste/Cocoa. No one has time to pull for Dant. Maybe if I'm a whale I would have pulled for him when his banner was still active. Going back to what I said multiple times already, Dant is just nice to have.

​@@cedj4504 rather than force yourself on Faction/team buff Better pull Broken T0 character Dantalion drop from T0 to T0,5/T1 in CN/TW, this mean he's not a cheat code to make PVE very much easier If u ask is Danta and Safi good together? Yes they're definitely, but do mind Safi T0 not because she's Hangeman/Iria Faction Buff But she has a lot Utility, survivability and Dmg as Seeker U know right how versatile is Seeker in this game? Imagine she's Assasin but one-man army If u F2P and pull for meta, better save all your pull for Safi or Auguste then pull for Cocoa, if u don't care meta, well then pull what u want

@@manyblock4192 F2p cant pull every unit. light spenders cant pull every unit. So none of them are a must pull. #1. Pull what you like. #2. Then pull whats best for your account. Missing any 1 unit in this game will not brick your account, despite what people are saying in the comments of this very vid.

Great breakdown. I regret not pulling for him and going for Col because I learned that Col falls down hard a few banners into global. The game didn't want to give me Gloria either even though I went over 100 pulls for her.

Danta is hype for sure, but I think Col is the better pick, they both fall off, but Col is more broken early. Hopefully the upcoming banners treat you better!

Unsheathes vulnerable also works with Dawnlight and White sword, so its still good even without the additional 40% patk/matk dmg. Not sure if it also works with his huge aoe I havent tried it yet but I assume it will also works.

Endless dawn is grouped as melee? How about the melee built i feel like it has more damage The 100% ignore block mele, anti melee reaction, unsheeth, endless dawn, for iria ? His basics will deal 140% by defult which cost no energy on top of ignore block and his energy will all funnel into the ult which deals 170% +40%

Can unsheathe procs on endless dawn? Endless dawn description is melee atk.

Yeah it's the 2nd skill it works on, but the extra damage will only apply to the original target. So I feel it's probably better to just run a 2nd attack in most cases.

@@DreamtOf well yeah, the 2nd moves from endless dawn is aoe. So the initial adjacent target (preferably boss or unit with large hp) will receive 40% mgc.dmg from unsheated first then receive 3x40% phys.dmg then 50% aoe mgc.dmg. so total of 210% dmg. But the units behind it only receive 50% aoe dmg right?!

For the original target yeah it would be 120% physical and 90% magical. The other part isn't exactly an aoe, it's more like he is shooting three magic arrows, one in his lane, and one down each the the adjacent lanes. So a unit behind your target would only be hit by knock back recoil, but the first unit in each lane would be hit by magic and the knock back itself.

Don't over look the Evergreen Pendent, it is super powerful on him, yes it is only epic but getting a level 2 att buff for 2 turns every time he is healed is super strong since he heals when any character dies.

After seeing 3 video about him, i feel like no one truly undestand this character but 1 think is chertain, why the fluck you all use True lens on him ? Do you even see Origin Hourglass ? Its perferct for him. Let me introduce you on this equip. Hourgrlass give P.ATTK AND M.ATTK +3 % and grant immunity at move down and spd down. +3% in both his damage its a lot . But if you dont want it there is betther item that Lens for him. That lens use on Nargal or Faycal.

Also the magic atk gain from hourglass doesn't effect his magic output, since it's only based on his physical attack, so you don't gain anything more then what true lense is giving you.

Why wouldn't you use him as a melee fighter he ahs everything for it, damage reduction, healing and great melee attacks I don't understand all those guides to use him as a weak ranged fighter, all his ranged skills are weaker than his melee skills for me?

are you focusing on PvP builds? I'm curious on PvP builds versus PvE (that most content focus on)

It's not so much pvp vs pve builds, since it really just depends on the content. Since some pve battles you fight elites as if it was pvp, and some pve battles you abuse the mutation mechanism of that fight. It's more of a suggestion of where you will most likely see those skills used. For Dantalion specifically, I use him in pvp and pve basically identically.

Haha I had a lv1 def until I was consistently holding top 50 on the leaderboard, so I put a def up to try to finish on the top 100 this season. Outside of going for leaderboard, everyone should be a homie and make a lv1 or fun def :)
