It’s also worth nothing that the Over the Hedge video game tie-ins have a completely different story from the film itself, specifically the Console and DS versions. The only one that kinda follows the actual movie itself is the GBA game. So I guess you could say that we did get a sequel, just under our noses.

Here to give my thoughts as usual lol Antz 2: I hate the first one and Woody Allen so yeah no. Rockumentry: definitely an interesting idea, but maybe a bit niche. Sucks it got canned, but at least we got the penguins we know today. Jurassic Park: Chaos Effect: even though I love this franchise I’m ok that we didn’t get this. It would’ve been cool but Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory are great shows so it wasn’t a total loss. Knuckles the Echidna: could’ve been cool, but you expressed it well with the being made in 2000 point. Plus I’m glad we have the live action films. The Bob and Larry movie: Veggietales is cool, but I’m not crying over the loss of this one. Celebrity Harvest: I don’t really have thoughts on this sorry. Bee Movie 2: could’ve been fun, but I kinda like Bee Movie being its own thing. Plus idk if you could capture the same meme level today. Over the Hedge 2: also would’ve been cool, but after Kung fu Panda 4 I’m ok with them not touching this again. The Book of Life: I love hearing movies get another chance at a different studio so I agree with you about having the one we have now. Dinotrux: Never seen the show, but I like dinosaurs so maybe. Me and My Shadow: Really sad this wasn’t made. Especially since this could’ve redeemed Mark Dindal for Chicken Little in people’s eyes. Honestly one of the most upsetting cancellations. Plants vs Zombies: I may not have much of a connection with this franchise, but this sounds awesome. Plus with animated video game adaptations getting better I feel like they should try this idea again. Vivo: Similar to TBOL I’m glad this got another chance. It would’ve been interesting to see DW’s take on it, but I love the final product, and it was another win for Sony Pictures Animation so I don’t think this was a big loss. BOO: another fun sounding idea. Sad when we thought it was being made again recently. Oof Madagascar 4: I’m fine with it not being made despite enjoying this franchise. 3 had a great ending and POM was a nice little bonus. Rise of the Guardians 2: Can’t wait to get to rewatch the first one since release, but another cancelled film that would’ve been awesome. They could’ve made the villain Halloween related man :( Larrykins: one of my saddest cancellations. I love animals so an animated film that would show some awesome Australian animals that was a musical sounded so fun. At least Tim Minchin got to have his idea in Back to the Outback. I do like that movie, but I wanna see the dreamworks version so badly. Hitpig: Just saw this film yesterday and while I thought it was bad it wasn’t completely devoid of entertainment. Though Dreamworks could definitely make it better especially if it was in the lines of something like the Madagascar movies. Great video as usual Xander. Would be cool if you could do this idea for other studios especially for Sony Pictured Animation. They have some interesting cancelled projects.
