I'd really appreciate it if there were more waste bins in the footpaths and if it is managed and cleared in time.. 🤗 I love making use of bins but I see that in most places it is too full that the waste starts to fall off from the bin.. oh and.. it will be the best 🌟and biggest change ever "if" ....("if possible" because the physiographycal structure of Kohima may not comply) the wires and pipelines we're all planned and managed properly.. Kohima is already a nice place but the spoiler is the wires and pipelines.. it'd be really great if we look unto this matter.. Yes it's hard to maintain and manage a vehicle but vehicle pollutions must be dealt with more seriously.. Nowadays Kohima is almost outnumbered by vehicles..🤷 🤗😊 these are just some of my frank opinions I do not wish to offend anyone... Sorry if so🙇

Smartcity should begin from grassroot. First we need to fix the basic traffic regulations and then proper road mapping need to be introduced, such as one way infrastructure. Which includes re-constructing the old road side buildings and maintaining the footpaths

Guys look, I work outside , and come home after every 5 months. When I say, or when people from Kohima who stay and work outside says the City has changed means trust us. The only thing is that we need to make our mindset clear of the simple facts that development doesn't come in a second, it takes time and patience. Don't blame the Govt for that. They are doing every bits and pieces for making our city a better one. We should voluntarily adhere with the Govt and help them in making that dream possible 😊 Kohima is my home and so is yours. No matter what.

What a good way to remind people that change is on the way. This time fast . If I may add, a video must also be made towards the public too. A city would only be smart if the public act smart with their lifestyle decisions. 1.waste disposal ( to dump waste with the MC and not in the drains,segregate it too) KMC has been working hard to eliminate waste and also a lot of org. have played their part in cleaning the town but people still seem to still follow their old habits. 2.sewage disposal ( people should refrain form releasing their septic tank in the drains during rainy seasons ) it's really rude and troubles everyone.Should call a cess cleaner to take it out if you don't have a sock pit or else install one. 3.with all this smart city volunteers cleaning the street people driving cars and pedestrians should refrain from throwing their waste on the streets . 4. Think smart means acting smart.public property is everyone's property and everyone should be responsible for their actions. The bridges and wall painted have been modified by every day pan consumers spitting and putting lime on the artwork . If they really want to have pan then have it responsible and not let others bear the weight of the problems they make. 5.parking responsibly and obeying the traffic rules too go a long way in reducing the congestion on the road.( trust me I am an engineer. unemployed lol). You don't need to park your car right outside your place or destination and that a little walk won't do you no harm. If you have come till here then you ,yes you reader are a concerned citizen of Kohima and is bound to be a better citizen of the city just like the platelets that repair the broken part of the skin. Let's all work together to follow some of these small steps which would bring big changes in our city. Remember Rome wasnt built in a day..

But that 10 minute walk is always annoying and a pain, because of either dust or muddy roads, or some crazy drivers who splashes you with water from the pot holes! Its like a friggin obstacle race to reach college! But yeah , we do need to appreciate the good side of the city too! ☺

Not just a dream.. But this could be a reality one day. But for it we all have to work together and have a broad mind. Let us not be stuck with things like Who will provide money? Who will take the initiative?.. Instead in our own little way let us contribute towards it. Picking a plastic or Paper lying on the road and throwing it in the dustbin , helping to keep the city clean , obeying traffic rules etc is a small but smart way towards achieving this goal. We youth have a lot of potentials. We don't need to be like our elders rather we can all rise above our small mindset, against corruption and greed to make the Project a successful story.
