I was thinking that dredging with the mini would take forever, but those scoops were surprisingly large, and you moved way more mud than I expected. That was a tidy very job of losing the spoil as well. I bet that's going to grow some nice grass when it dries. A shame about the strip of land at the end of the cove. It would be lovely being able to take a wee boat out to the big pond, providing the owner was happy.

Seeing swamp mats and how other people use them is always cool. We just used 15000 swamp mats to build one pad. And our last job had about 100k swamp mats. It was non stop semi truck loads for about a year and a half to deliver them. They're all stacked up in a couple lay down yards.

I believe that with the extra knuckle for tilting the grading bucket the thumb would not reach far enough down to grab the cutting edge of the grade bucket..so even if extra piloted valves where added the thumb I don’t believe would work very well.
