My belly fat was my biggest concern before. But as I started doing IF with Keto diet, worked like magic. Belly fats are gone. But of course it wasn't gone in a blink of an eye. I've been doing IF with keto for about 3-4 months already. No exercise, low carb to zero carb, no sugar, no drinking alchohol, no processed foods.. my waistline of 38" is now 24". My belly from 40" is now down to 27".

Great advice! When I was on a high-carb diet I exercised every day by swimming and hitting the weight room! After the workouts, I had ravenous hunger and consumed more calories than I normally would have had I not exercised! This resulted in weight gain with very little of that being muscle gain! I have had weight loss just by changing my diet with low to moderate exercise! Proper diet and exercise are much more effective than exercising with a poor carb-rich diet!

Wow Dr. Sten this is great info you shared with us. More execise won't make us leaner it will only make as more HUNGRY. I am living example of this. I used to run for 2 hours every evening at slow speed in hopes of losing fat from my hips and as you said I would eat after because I was hungry. I didn't know back then that getting rid of fat for good is all about HORMONES. Now I know better, I only walk and will do so until I reach my goal weight. GREAT INFO as usual. Thank you Dr. Sten

Doc, I have been taking your advice since the beginning of March. Thus far I have lost 30lbs. I did a metabolic panel with my PCM last week and the results were way better! My HA1C was down to 5.8 and glucose was down to 110. My PCM was very happy. Thanks for the great advice!

I lost 30lbs by intermittent fasting daily by taking mineral supplements, and stopped using fluoride toothpaste, stopped eating bromated flour products, and eating food mostly from scratch, meaning eating food not from a box , package. but I eat good. beef, aged cheeses, any protein i want. vegetables, I eat some sugar in the form of molassas. no white sugar. I don't suffer. I never walk around hungry.

@@drekberg you should talk about Halogens. the good(iodine), the bad(bromine) and the ugly (fluorine) A real sick joke the food industry has played on us by putting Potassium Bromate in our flour, and fluoride in our toothpaste. it is criminal what it does to our endocrine system.

In my mind, here is what really matters me. I have been on a LCHF diet for just under 7 mos and have lost 50 lbs. My clothes don't fit anymore, I feel great, I don't even look the same. I think good things are happening in my body to repair 68 years of hard living ... and trust me when I say, I have sampled all that life has to offer! I am in and 100 percent committed to this life style, until I personally see an adverse effect. And so, to you Dr. Ekberg, I say ... thank you. This stuff works.

I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes about 7 yrs ago and 5 yrs ago was prescribed insulin. I was taking 5 shots a day. I started watching your videos late last yr and on 1/4/21 began a low carb (no sugar), low calorie diet based on what I learned from you. I am happy to report that I am now only taking 1 shot of insulin a day and am slowly weaning off it. On my 61st birthday recently, I reached my goal of losing 30 lbs. Just want to thank you.

This is right. I’m a runner and research a lot on the science of running performance, this is consistent with all the other content I’ve watched and read. He’s right, more is not necessarily better, in fact a lot of elite runners spend a sizeable part of their training on - easy runs. So he’s right we don’t need high intensity long duration, all the time.
