Excellent review, I bought a 16" Dreo a week ago and I'm very impressed with its performance. I have a studio condo 473sf. and the heater does a great job of heating the entire space. Whisper quiet, accurate temp control, and excellent safety features. Exceeds expectations so far, will see how it affects my electric bill, seems to cycle very little so far.

I just went through this odyssey. Clarity only came when I looked at the Dreo shop on Amazon. It has all current models and their user manuals. I ordered and cancelled twice due to confusion before I decided the Sense model was what I wanted. Your Guard model is aimed at those who want to use it in the bathroom - it has the most safety features. Dreo's web site is not up- to-date.

You have the Dreo Guard, not the Atom. This size Dreo has 3 models: Atom, Guard, Sense.

The branding with Dreo is confusing. The main product name on Amazon just calls it "Dreo Space Heater". In the "Dreo Space Heater Family" section of the product listing, they call it "Atom Guard". On Dreo's website they show a "Dreo Atom One" but not "Guard" or "Sense". Looking at it now, I think this is the Atom Guard which is like the Atom One with but an ALCI plug.

Does it start alone when the temperature goes below the temp that i set up

Yes. It starts when the temp falls below the temp you have set on the heater. That is how we used it in our camper.
