Just got mine but the automatic oszillation for all directions (vert/horz) doesn`t work, it just goes left to right - what do I have to do? The instructions and dreo website tell nothing about that...thank you in advance

The best way to clean a fan is with compressed air. Always has been.

@@KnifeFanatic First, I still have both of my stones. It's sad finding out this early in our relationship about your loss. The shower... I'm not sure, because I have mine setup as a replica of the scene in The Abyss when Lindsey drowns. I let the shower fill up all the way to the ceiling and have my wife resuscitate me immediately after I go unconscious. Simply wouldn't be safe to clean my fan plugged in. Not trying to kill myself, KF.

One small screw that holds on the grill and a retainer cap over the blades inside. Rinse the blades and wipe down the inside (it'll be wide open without the blades in the way). Reassemble, and it looks brand new. Takes about five minutes.

This is an air circulator, it doesn't lower the temperature of the air it's moving it just moves it, so if you're not in the path of the moving air you're not getting ANY of the benefits of it's operation, so don't bother with letting it oscillate around the room in areas you're not sitting in because that's a waste of electricity and will benefit nobody.

Actually this is true except for when the temperature outside lowers during night, you can use the fan to get the heat out of your (bed)room.

This seems like a pretty ignorant comment. Who has ever implied that a fan is an air conditioner that cools the unit? All fans just move current temperature air - ceiling, desktop, stand, whatever - none of those 'cool' the air, but it makes the air in your space not stagnant. If you want to compare an air conditioner to an air conditioner, great, but trying to conflate the two is dumb.
