I was a 9/11 responder and started having shortness of breath shortly after. I was exposed to poison gas as well as all the other toxins down there. I have been watching some of your videos lately and found them very helpful. I have a multitude of specialists. I have COPD, GERD, and my thyroid got knocked out. One doctor did suggest a multi-vitamin. I became totally disabled in 2010. I am on oxygen 24/7. I can't walk around my house even with portable O2 without stopping to rest. Watching this video was more informative than any doctor visit. I will be trying your suggestions. I sure have nothing to loose. Thank you for producing this video.

@King King Yes. I tried the method explained in another video. Taking the following daily for 3 months. Quercetin = 1000mg B6 = 250mg B12 = 4000mcg Methyl Folate = 4000mcg 2 months in and what I can say is that I feel better and can workout daily now. On top of this I also use the inhalator daily(using for 6 months) My friend got Asthma at the same time as me and he just sticks to big pharma. His condition has worsened severely, while my condition improved. I also feel that I don't need the inhalator most of the time.

@andreas956
@andreas956 3 жыл бұрын
@@metejt Don't worry too much, you'll manage. I use prescription inhaler. I have one for daily use and one rescue inhaler. Is it dust mite allergy you have? I recommended two more things in that case: Buy allergy sheets for the bed. Remove unecessary things in bedroom to make it easy to clean. Buy a dehumidifier. For the bedroom. Buy a "miteless" adapter. You stick it into the wall and it releases constant frequencies that the dust mites hate.

I have had COPD for years from smoking a pack a day plus weed for 40+ years. When I was diagnosed with a fatty liver, I started keto and IF and besides losing 70 pounds, I was cured from arthritis, hypertension, psoriasis, and my breathing improved dramatically. I credit Dr Berg & Ken Barry for all the info I needed. I quit tobacco 3 years ago, but keto and IF is what had all the impact on my overall health.

Thank you Dr Berg! My dad died March 28 this year after suffering years with COPD. In the end the heart Dr's told us his heart was his problem- his echocardiogram showed he was diagnosed with right side heart failure. They never connected the 2. But I see it now with your explanation why his heart failed. I watched him suffer more and more and struggle with breathing and everyday living. I can't express my gratitude enough for opening my eyes to this connection. I have been diagnosed with Asthma already and have already implemented keto and IF into my life as a way to NOT go the way my dad did. I have never smoked but believe my exposure to 2nd hand smoke and being overweight has caused my issues with Asthma. Because of your work here, I am now also going to add the Vit E, D3 and 72hr EF into my life to further become the healthy person that my dad could not be. Thank you, thank you for your work and sharing of information. I'm in tears here in gratitude.

Jolie Felicia, I feel for you. Really. My son was diagnosed with idiopathic primary pulmonary hypertension 7 years ago. We travelled down the same path as you as parents. Exactly the same stuff, such as liver failure, edema, breathing problems ascites etc. February 2020 and we were looking at a heart / lung / partial liver transplant.I wish I had known you earlier, because I switched the treatment to Homeopathy and the good doctor pulled a rabbit out of the hat. In Homeopathy they look at the illness holistically as the mind and the body are connected. My son's pulmonary hypertension was coming from a psychotic state of mind and the good Homeopathic doctor was quick to put a finger on it. In 4 months of treatment the ascites is gone and the liver is doing a complete turnaround. Last liver function test came out normal. The medicine is cheap as well as the treatment. All it took was 3 drops of a liquid Aurum natrum muraticum in half a cup of water everyday. My son is 35 yrs old. Today he works out with weights, does yoga 3 times a week and has got back his life. Where modern medicine (which is compartmentalized) has no answers we should look to Alternative medicine. I'm so sorry for your loss and my prayers go out to your family. God bless

This is excellent advice, right here. Auto-fixy for the win. 👍 Also try & breath through your nose, instead of your mouth, to help your body filter out a bit more of the yuckgusting stuff that's in the air we breath. 👃 Thank you muchly for sharing this important information with us all. Take care & stay safe everybody. ❤🙂🐶

Interesting., If I remember buteyko method is breathing through the nose and breath lightly. In buteyko method the idea is to increase co2 levels in the blood which allows more oxygen to be released from the hemoglobin. Most people have lower than optimum levels of c02. For COPD would breathing through the mouth be better since c02 levels are high already? Buteyko method was very helpful and calming for me.

Thank you so much for these teachings. I am a smoker and have felt judged and offered no advice on how to quit. Doctors made me feel like a failure. I need more of this in my life. I have benefitted greatly from other suggestions you’ve made. I would like to ask, and I know this video is old, it where you don’t give an amount to take of a certain supplement, can we assume that we just take it as directed? Also, I often struggle to find companies to purchase things from that I feel are a good product and/or effective. I’d love it if you were able to make a few suggestions on where we might find certain supplements which have reputable sellers. I’m thankful for having found you on KZbin. The world would be a better place with more “Dr’s” like you.

Thank you Dr Berg for this explanation for COPD. I quit smoking eight years ago and for two years afterwards, I felt fantastic! Out of the blue I had trouble breathing, and it's steadily gotten worse, much worse! I have a regurgitating mitral valve leak and a tri- cuspid leak also but it falls into normal range whatever that is. I've had several nuclear stress tests that all have come out the same. Then I was told that I have MILD COPD........if this is mild, they are out of they're minds! I'm healthy @71 yrs old, this is the only problem I have, and if I didn't have this, I could run a marathon! The Tocotrienols my doctor may not give me a script on, but the rest I can get over the counter. I've also been drinking the recipe that you had for the lungs. I'm trying so hard, and if this doesn't work.....well I don't even want to go there, as this has given me a real bout with depression, but God bless you on your work in helping everyone, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️🤗😘

I rely on my Lung expectorant that has Osha, Elecampane, YerbaSanta, etc to get that mucous out...excercise helps too...my vit E (Jarrow) has Tocotrenols, YaY. and I get Sun everyday along with D3K2... Super interesting stuff. My partner went undiagnosed from 25-40 with Pulmonary embolism. He was an athlete so couldn't get any doctors to listen to his complaints of shortness of breath when he was a young man. It's a miracle he is still alive. He only has 50% lung capacity because of the many PE's that got lodged in his lungs and turned into scar tissue. His case may be rare but his COPD is on the blood side of the lungs not the air side. He takes blood thinners permanently. We are doing tocotirenals, vitamin D and a low carb carnivore diet among other things. I would like him to be able to take vitamin K2 with the vitamin D and I'm fairly sure that K2 doesn't thicken the blood like K1 does. I would also like him to be able to take proteolytic enzymes as they are also reputed to digest proteins in the blood so can dissolve fibrin in the blood and also other proteins in the blood but it is a blood thinner so not sure. I'm hoping we can keep his disease from progressing and slow things way down to give him a longer more comfortabl life.

I always thought it was the tar in cigarettes that clogged the alveoli. When I stopped smoking (smoked for 50yrs) I used L-Glutamine, L-Tyrosine, DLPA, and 5HTP to reduce cravings. Took my vitamins (as you pointed out) and found that when I was busy, I didn't crave cigs anymore. I began working out with weights, do periodic fasting, etc. I stopped coughing and began to heal. The physical addiction is over in 2 or 3 days. The smoking associated with coffee, food, wine, and other things was the psychological aspect that keeping busy helped get me through. Every time I craved a cigarette after a meal, etc,, I just thought how deadly it was, and the craving went away (with the help of the amino acids).

Look people if I can quit smoking - anyone can. Get serious. Yes it hurts, but once you have decided, smoking is not an option so get through it - and get through it you will! Note: you are not just quit in smoking, this is a lifestyle change. And once you are done, (okay years later) you will not be able to fathom why you ever smoked. You were a different person then. Actually looking back, I quit many times, and yes it hurt. But the last time, it was different; all desire was taken from me. Yes, cry out for help to the living God!

Hi desireeclark442...I too have COPD and early on did research this. It's an enzyme that the liver produces. If you have a deficiency of this enzyme which is actually designed to protect your lungs you can get COPD. A specific blood test will diagnose whether you have a deficiency or not. Its genetic and if there is a deficiency, your children can be susceptible to COPD later in life even though they may never spoke. I have never smoked yet I have COPD and I believe I got this from unknowingly breathing in mold spores from an AC ducting which was loaded with Stage 4 mold at my workplace. So contrary to what most doctors (GP's) say you can get it even though you were never a smoker. Certain pollutants can also cause it.

D for over a year, last year was my first time ever my chronic bronchitis did not manifest; indeed, while friends, colleagues and students around me caught their various colds and flu, I was even unaffected by any cold or flu symptoms. BTW, for the sclerosis, I'm on keto, supplemented with nattokinase, sublingual EDTA (mineral additions to counter potential trace deficiencies), and a host of other supplements. While many U.S. citizens are taking as many as 35 tablets of medicine daily to treat symptoms, I'm taking almost that many of supplements (still eating; they're not food replacements!) to ward off the need for such non-biological meds. I'm 70, and have strong desire to play and coach soccer, but my back keeps telling me to avoid the high-impact stuff, so I'm limited to hiking, bicycling, rebounding, snooker, and walking my 10,000+ steps a day, one step for each Vitamin D IU!

What do recommend to minimize COPD symptoms
@RechtmanDon

@@peaceandlove544 My father smoked 3 packs a day until I was 14; when the 1964 Surgeon General's report was released, he quit cold turkey, promptly gained 50 pounds, and gradually lost the excess weight over the 5 years of his recovery from all the smoking. He died at age 91 from an acute case of job hunting! There's the source of my COPD; I attribute the recovery from it to the vitamin D. Adding the other recommendations (healthy keto, OMAD, etc.) I credit with clearing up the fatty liver and other symptoms of metabolic syndrome, and gradually improving peripheral circulation and restoring lower limb peripheral nerve function. An important consideration: there is no study to assess the application of all of the above to any causation of the anecdotal benefits. However, in spite of some orthodox medical claims to the contrary, it is not unreasonable to consider incorporating all these lifestyle changes at once, as the are collectively modeled to complement the biology we were evolved with.
