I've always believed that it's the characters that make a good story. Plot and worldbuilding certainly help, but the characters, how they interact with each other and the situation they've found themselves in are what _really_ turn a good story into a great one. You, Christian, have managed to craft many interesting and entertaining characters so far and now with Dresden I can say you've practically mastered the art of character creation! Some more questions related to demons this week, Christian, in light of the redraw on Friday. 1) Even if he doesn't interact with Mara or Kate at any point, is Clayton going to be referenced or have some role in the plot? 2) Was the story about Crocerpatlok(am I saying that right?) partially inspired by Peter Pan? Seeing as there are two men called James and Peter, and James gets attacked by a crocodile (but in this case, the crocodile's the one missing a limb) 3) How big an organization *is* the Predator Coalition of Demon Hunters?

This was incredible. I always enjoy seeing your Multiverse Tales videos. Especially the ones where we learn about new overseers or even have new narrators telling their tales in you series, since they are a favourite of mine and I've been really enjoying your original series. So seeing you draw not only Dresden but also the other overseers like Tarsa and Fear Herself alongside the Reaper is just incredible. I especially love The Reaper’s and Fear Herself’s designs the most. Dresden's gives off a cool and almost mysterious appearance mixed with an unusual scientist who just emanates knowledge as well as someone who's willing to seek answers to the many questions in the multiverse...plus I just like how he looks like a badass scientist who also knows how to fight if the situation calls upon it, Tarsa’s gives off that of a mythical being in resemblance to an otherworldly entity that seems to be very mischievous in nature with a desire to slowly torment those for her own amusement...plus I like how she just looks like a true villain to further show her unknown capabilities of bringing chaos and destruction, The Reaper’s just makes her look like a cool otherworldly creature with some vast powers that shows that their are some beings that you should never make an enemy of for it could be the last thing you'll ever do...plus it just looks interesting to see your take on the legendary Grim Reaper since its always exciting to see what the aspect of Death across the Multiverse would look like, Fear Herself’s makes her look like a dangerous and mysterious demonic being that's so mysterious that its definitely a force to be reckoned with as well as a creature to be truly feared for they could be unpredictable...plus I like how she has that almost classic demonic presence with that charcoal black skin and haunting yellow eyes and looks like she would fit perfectly in the role of someone who works from the shadows to further their own desires. This was an incredible video with some amazing designs and new bits of lore that will surly make the Multiverse Tales episode more intriguing. It would be interesting to see you do more things with these overseers; maybe turning them into superheroes, or dragons or even making armous for them, since I think that would be pretty interesting...plus if its the case for armours, I think Benny and Vasilia would have a blast, and it would be fun to see Benny and Vasilia come up with armour ideas based on some of these unique SCPs. I also love the fact that you left an interesting bit of info dure Tarsa's drawing where she was training a daughter and then immediately showed a picture of Astra...does this perhaps mean that Astra is Tarsa's daughter? If so, that would be very interesting to see how that plays out. I also can’t wait to see how Mara’s story continues in the multiverse tales episodes. Great job as always Christian and I can’t wait to see what you draw on Friday’s video. P.s. do you think you could do a video of turning dinosaurs into mech armours? The overseer thing reminds me of my verses' leviathans, 1 for each world/universe and they protect time from disasters but they also protect worlds from outside threats basically acting as a guardian. And some turn out to be not very nice, and only 3 are pure good.

Gotta say... Burnt Barbeque Man having a absolutely tragic backstory was unexpected but also not unexpected... Also when Fear made her first "appearance" in Backcells Prison and spoke. I thought of her appearance of a more black silhouette appearance. Eyes being green & pupils pure void black, with her mouth not visible but jaw still moving when she talks. With her looking either bored out of her mind, her needing some 3 AM coffee, or like an Apathetic Cold Unfeeling Supernatural Being (which is *maybe* the most closest to her actual character). But the pose you gave her... was almost the exact pose I imagined her pose in the 4th Backcells episode, but mine's just with her both her arms resting on her lap. Anyway another awesome lore video. I enjoy these lore stuff so much, especially the dragon ones. I don't comment much (second time commenting, first on community post & now here). But you are quite the inspiration to me & my artworks (I believe we use the same software to draw) in Autodesk Sketchbook. Thank you for making these awesome videos, see you in your next video.

At first I thought Dresden was just that universe’s version of Dr Oak from Pokémon, but now I know he was part of something so much more. The change in tone of this episode was a great addition and made this a phenomenal episode! This is why Dresdan is one of the deepest characters to this day. The transition from a seemingly apathetic, closed off, “greater good” professor, slowly developing a distain for some of the more unethical practices, to this episode, highlighting his morality, however obscured it may seem. Finally, as we seen him truly caring about his friends and the innocent: “I was not going to give up on my world no matter what horrors came my way.” It all shatters. He loses them all. Broken, he progresses to villain, still employing a fractured version of past ethics, though to the degree that his old self would be appalled by. And he doesn’t notice. That’s the kicker. Then of course, he progresses to hero status. I just really love how much depth your work has, but Dresden in particular is special. A masterful work of art in storytelling. Bravo, hats off!

I expected something huge from this episode. Something that'd change my whole perspective on everything. This.....surpasses everything I could have expected from this episode. So much lore from across these dozens of episodes being tied together all at once through one character we knew so little about and two we've mostly just heard mentioned and expanded them so much into something much greater than I expected. I initially thought the reaper would be based on SCP-2935 more directly but they seem to be more than just that. Though I'm guessing she still is somewhat inspired by O, Death. Makes sense to tie it a multiverse spanning role rather than some individual in a singular universe. As for Fear Herself, she seems even more unsettling than the Reaper honestly. She gives off an equally otherworldly vibe as the Reaper, hard to believe she's just an overseer. I get the impression she's more than just that, maybe she was something like those SCP Entities from Dresden's universe (not necessarily directly from there) who attained Overseer abilities. Honestly part of me wants to know her whole story, given how mysterious she is and how she's possibly been at this for even longer than Dresden. As for Dresden himself, I only just barely put it together as I was watching that he shared a name with the Overseer Dresden and then it all suddenly fell into place perfectly. He basically has become a One-Man SCP Foundation through turning his homeworld into a massive containment cell. Wonder what he thinks of the alternate versions of the Foundation in Benny and Tayren's Universes? And Tarsa seems like a real piece of work, I imagine she'll be returning given she was fully drawn here and seems to be important to Astra as well. One of your best episodes I've ever seen from the whole channel, really well put together honestly. I cannot wait to see how more of this story unfolds and how other parts of the greater story in the Multiverse Tales Saga unfold as well.

I think she said that she unleashed the Kaiju in that world to try and do something like that but as far as I remember, we never had any confirmation as to whether Astra's mentor is dead or not.

Wow! Now this is an intense episode. Mara was made into a reaper hunter to kill the reaper, that is insane. I'm rather spooked by that. So that's how BackCells Prison was made and why Fear Herself and Dresden are rather close. Dresden Oakland makes Champaign McGregor seem cheerful in comparison. If Champaign heard about Dresden's life, he'd realize that he had it better than him.

Fear Herself looks so cool, the Reaper looks so cool, Dresden looks so cool, THEY ALL LOOK SO BLOODY COOL! Also holy smokes, this video wasn’t a lore bomb, it was a lore Death Star. I’m especially terrified of what Fear Herself’s end goal in all this is, as I don’t think she’s in it for the betterment of the multiverse. I also REALLY loved how you made her name really glitchy while still making it legible, it gave me both the feeling of dread from knowing who it is while also conveying how powerful and scary she is. Alright, I'm gonna try and take a shot in the dark here on what POTENTIALLY could happen, and if I'm wrong.......eh, whatever😅 Anyway, here's my theory/guess/shot in the dark/prediction: The "Sharp Gang" will lose their fight against Oakland and Fear Herself. Like, actually lose; not getting close to almost losing before suddenly gaining the upper hand, they WILL fail. I also think Cosmara will get taken over and corrupted by her curse, becoming an obedient pawn for Fear Herself, and she'll end up killing the current Reaper. Things look bleak for our heroes; they're still recovering from the incredibly tense battle, one of them possibly in critical condition or on the brink of death... They've lost the battle, and they lost Cosmara... It looks like the bad guys have completely and utterly achieved victory, leaving the good guys to lick their wounds and wallow in their own sorrow... Although, a glimpse of hope comes through once Astra comes with a gift; after using a piece of the multiverse orb or calling in a favor or by sheer dumb luck, she's managed to locate someone who has been given the powers of The Reaper, [after the previous Reaper had been killed by Cosmara] and she rallies the team back to their feet as they still have a chance to save Cosmara and the multiverse. However, once they venture out and retrieve this new host of the Reaper's power and responsibility, things prove to be more difficult as this new host is not only reluctant to use their newfound power, but they're outright refusing to accept this as their new life... I mean, who wouldn't? They've had their own life planned out for so long, down to the last minute details, and now they suddenly need to throw all that away for an overbearing responsibility they never wanted, nor had a say in receiving? The "Sharp Gang" would certainly have their hands full with training this new Reaper host and trying to convince them to use their power to help, especially since the whole "With Great Power..." speech isn't exactly working on this rather stubborn individual. But, the new Reaper is there only hope to save Cosmara and the entire multiverse, so they'll have to put up with them and keep trying until something gives... Along the way, this new Reaper will learn to not let their sudden burden of responsibility define their life, but instead have it be there as a passenger. Afterall, you can still have your cake and eat it too. This new Reaper isn't going to give up the life plan they had laid out for themselves so easily; their goals aren't gonna achieve themselves, y'know? Whether they wanna go to college or get a normal job, heck, maybe they wanna get married and start a family; this new Reaper still wants to live life the way they want to, but they'll still use their powers [and their epic looking scythe] whenever they need to, but they won't plan on being a full-time "superhero", only being The Reaper when they're needed. The new Reaper has become a character allegory for freedom of choice, and they agree to help the "Sharp Gang" with saving Cosmara and the multiverse! Main message: "Don't let curveballs ruin your life/guide your decisions. It's YOUR life, and YOU still have a say in what you want to do with it." .......Aaaand, that's my shot in the dark/theory/guess/possible story pitch! 😄 I could be 100% wrong, but I'm still proud of coming up with this, and if it is wrong, then I'll just use this idea for my own story :P I hope someone enjoys reading this, even a little bit, and if someone actually read this.......thank you for reading!
