Why do I feel like older animes had much more interesting and personalised character outfits. I feel like, apart from the main costume, most of the recent anime characters have such mediocre and ordinary "everyday/casual" clothes. I also get super excited when mangas have trendy outfits 🤩

put some respect on sailor moon 🤧 naoko takeuchi, manga writer who is behind sailor moon, was really into fashion/high fashion too so a lot of the outfits in the series were based on actual designers, such as dior!

Random manga recommendation, but the manga Stop!! Hibari-kun! has such good 80s fashion. The mangaka went on to illustrate for fashion companies.

Sailor Mars and Sailor Venus are both equally my favorite characters now! But back when I was a kid, Sailor Moon was my favorite and Sailor Venus was in second place. My tastes have changed with Ouran too. Kyouya and Nekozawa used to be my favorites. But now after rewatching it later, Tamaki and Kyouya are both equally my favorite characters.
