Conan gets beat in ratings because his fans tend to watch him online. I hardly get to watch his show, but i'm a huge fan.

is it bad to say that appreciate the older conan clips than the newer ones? he's a funny guy, but these clips have such a charm that I love, I miss their banter. Thank you very much for the clips!

@jayrobson88 Of course I was a fan of Andy. I've been watching this show since the early days when I was in college. So to me, Andy was an important part of the show. He gave Conan someone funny to chat with during the bits and they always had this fun chemistry. That was part of the magic for me. So, of course it was hard to adjust after he left. Since you started watching later, you would have a different perspective. I never stopped watching the show though - just stopped taping it.

@beaniepq No, its not bad because I feel the same way. I didn't enjoy Conan as much when Andy left which is why I eventually stopped taping the show every night.

@conanfan33 Quick question for you: Are you watching Conan's show at TBS now? What do you think is a better show, his old late night show or this new one? I want to know the opinion of someone who has watched him from the start of his career to the present / =)

@beepx2 I will add too that it was also fun to have a network to complain about. Conan doesn't do that at TBS - there's no Conan-against-the-network thing happening. Conan used to complain about lack of budget and NBC promos and such and turn it into funny rants and bits on the show. He can't do that anymore. Oh well, now that Lopez has been cancelled, Conan may be out of a job soon again. I hear he is evening getting beat by Chelsea Handler in the ratings. Yuck.

@beepx2 I am watching, but I definitely am not enjoying it as much. I like having Andy around, but I hate the show taping in L.A. L.A. sucks and Conan doesn't go out and do remotes and interact with his environment like he did at 30 Rock. I think there was just more to do in NY. It just doesn't feel as fresh and risky anymore. I still watch, but I find I don't laugh or enjoy it as much as I did in the past. I also think it being on earlier hurts the overall feel as well..

@conanfan33 People always associate Conan's decline in quality with Andy's departure. Conan stopped being hilarious a couple of years before Andy left. It started being hilarious again a few years after he left but not really since that time. Everyone always makes associations based on what they see and not the writers leaving they cannot see.

@conanfan33 Dno why you say that, sounds like you yourself changed, or were just a giant Andy Richter fan. I started watching this show a couple years after Andy left, and thats what I liked and grew up on. From my perspective the show seems like it changed, but in an evolving, good kinda way. If anything, more bizarre and ironic when Andy left.

@conanfan33 I'm wondering how Conan is doing in the ratings since I live in Sweden. I can't watch him in Sweden except on the internet and the clips I've seen on the internet is so much worse than the ones on Late Night. About Andy leaving I found him funny with Andy and even funnier when Andy left since I preferred the chatts with Max Weinberg, not that i have anything against Andy ;). Also has he gotten new writers on the show since the new bits mostly suck compared to the Late Night bits?
