I watched this show when it was on in the early 2000s or whenever it was on. I liked it but didnt appreciate it. I watch it now and i have to say its the funniest sitcom ever. I was always a Seinfeld fan and still am but dang thr drew carey show was amazing. I cant get through an episode now wirhout dying laughing. They are all insanely funny. Some of the banter between drew, mr wick and Mimi is just gold. This show will never be topped.

Forget DVD, this show should either be on Netflix or Huluplus. Streaming media is more lucrative these days.

Yeah, but the corporate suits decide how long you are able to see a certain program then it's gone. With DVDs, the consumer can watch the program indefinitely. As a current Netflix subscriber, I was very disappointed when Monk was removed from my viewing options.

That's what pisses me off whoever owns the rights the show hasn't done either of those things and if anybody on KZbin has it taped off TV and decides to upload it they end up getting a copyright strike.
@ericstoverink657911 ай бұрын
Screw that. I'd rather have my own physical copy that the corporate elites can't just take away whenever they feel like it. Streaming is a scam. But, I doubt I'll be changing the mind of an ad-bot Mr. pixPROMOS...

Sadly I believe they only made the first two seasons on DVD and with all the copywrite music they use for their dance moments, they just aint going to pay for all that. World has sadly changed a lot since then

Such a cute bit, and a window into a time when Baby Boomers were still a primary demographic for the network TV. "Windy" is a song that shot to #1 in 1967 so any boomer that was alive at that time knows it well, but it was a typical, "song of the summer." Inescapable for some months but then fades from the radio just as quickly.

season one is on dvd, but it was released 5 years ago. I wish Warner Bros would release the rest of the series on dvd because it's hardly syndicated these days, same with Whose Line
@ericandy887 жыл бұрын
With all the music they used in later years, licensing is far too expensive. Same with WKRP & The Wonder Years, which used a ton of old music, taking forever to reach DVD. WKRP still has some of it edited out.

yeah I guess the second season had alot of dance sequences which could complicate things, not to mention a good chunk of the second season they used Five o'Clock world as the theme song

The only option is to sail the high-seas. Due to the sheer number of songs used [including the main themes] Warner Brothers will never pay for the series to be released anywhere.
