As someone with a Hospitality Mgmt degree, I have to agree that it's mgmt's fault, lol. They just want the place clean, and you can't tiptoe around sleeping guests. Sad, but true... firsthand experience.

@@jburrows24 I hate having to stay in hotels, and thankfully I hardly ever do. We stayed in one last year and the sheets and pillowcases were so heavily chlorinated that I got a chemical burn! Either that or they were full of dog pee. Not sure. And when I called down to the desk to have clean sheets in up they told me that there were no housekeepers. Who has a hotel and doesn't have anybody on call? So we had to strip the bed throw all of the sheets out in the hall and my husband had to go find new ones. We ended up getting comped for that night
