My son married 5/11/24 … the BEST day for him, her & me!! I had him at 41 and smelled the roses all the way! I miss him being little. I just want to hold him in my lap again!!😢 I am oxygen dependent now and this is the song we danced to at the wedding and there was not a dry eye in the house. I see a lot of comments from moms as I scroll through them. I lost my mom to cancer in February of 2019, just two months after I met my wife Becky. We got married this past year in August of 2022, and I know she was there with us. The first time I heard this song was when my wife sent it to me and it brings tears to my eyes and memories of my mom every time I hear it. Unfortunately, my ex-husband wasn't taught how to properly take care of a woman and her children my boys have been raised by me, and all know they must treat women with respect and love, my middle son Chase has found the woman of his dreams and after 3 1/2 years he proposed. Chase and I have a special bond. He chose this song your song to play for a mother son dance at his wedding December 22 in Miami area in Florida, I am praying for a miracle that I can make it because I've been battling cancer and other illnesses in the last two years. I beat the cancer because the strength of my boys praying for to God that they will not take their dear mother before their wedding day. I've gotten stronger, and the doctors are all amazed by my recovery the most special thing to my son and I want to have a special recording of your song because Can she have this dance but the greatest thing would be for you to come to the wedding. They are also going to play she's somebody's daughter for my wonderful daughter-in-law to be. I understand it's near Christmas but if you would do a special recording or could be there whether it's video or in person your songs have kept my sons and I going.
