To us - We're Europid and down south to the Caucasus mountains there are Caucasian people which have different features that could separate them from us, and that would include everything, so Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Chechen, Ingush, any of the Dagestan people, Balkars, Kabardians, Karachays and Cherkessians. Many of those are Muslims and some of Turkic origin and you can easily distinct them from Russians or any other Slavs nearby.

The real Circassians don't even exist anymore, Russians completely wiped them out, now people who call themselves Circassian are mix of multiple ethnicities, NOT Circassian, and NOT Caucasian. Dagestani are mostly of Persian origings, NOT Caucasian. Azeri are mix between Turkic and Persian, NOT Caucasian. Armenians are originally southern Anatolians, NOT Caucasian. Situation in UK is slightly different then mentioned. There hasn´t been a (severe) Heatwave so far this Year but 30°C is not uncommon, especially in the South. The first time Temperatures in UK rose above 37°C was in 1990 with 37.1°C (98.8°F). That Record was broken in 2003 with 38.5°C (101.3°F) followed by 2019 with 38.7°C (101.7°F). A severe but luckily short Heatwave in 2022 lead to Temperatures up to 40.3°C (104.5°F). Air conditioning is barely existing and Houses usually are built in a way they trap the Heat inside. Also the livestyle is not adapted to Temperatures well above 30°C. When Nights are also warm (20°C+, 68°F+) this lead to a lot of deaths in recent Heatwaves. The 2003 Heatwave killed an estimated 2200 People in England and Wales, 2019 had 900 Deaths in England and 2022 lead to the death of 3300 People. A Heatwave in 2020 (up to 37.8°C, 100°F) caused 2600 Deaths. The Temperatures may not be high compared to many other Countries, but when a Society is not used to it and makes things even worse with a behaviour they think is beneficial to reduce Temperatures inside but actually proves to be fatal, then these "low" Temperatures can be really bad too. And thats something we see across all of Central Europe.

you also forgot to mention that on average the UK humidity is over 60% whereas in countries that typically get higher heat are way below that. for example california on average has a temperature of 105F with less than 20% humidity whereas britain reached that same temperature in the heatwave of 2022 and still had a humidity level of 70%+
@lukasrentz3238 Жыл бұрын
@@kosmic_kamui6699 Thats luckily wrong. During the Afternoon of 19th July 2022, Humidity in England where the Heat peaked was between 15 and 30%. The Coasts had higher values but also far lower Temperatures. The Humidity Levels you mention in combination with such high Temperatures are found in the Tropics. And even there, 40°C and 70% humidity is extremely rare. That would result in a Wet Bulb Temperature of 34.9°C. 35°C is believed to be fatal for everybody in a matter of 6 Hours.

The reason why hot wetter in Europe is worse is because of the Air humidity. The coutnries shown lie in arid places, while humid places not only make you feel heat through the light and ground, but also the air as the water in the air warms up. This doesn't happen in arid places, as gasses don't heat up so much, which turns down the heat affect

I thought it was because English houses are basically built out of cardboard. I dated a girl from Scotland a while and she couldn't fathom how my apartment at the time could be so quiet even though it was close to a road because she was used to a single glass frame in the window and poor isolation (I lived in Malmö at the time, Edinburg is actually cooler in the winter). English houses are cold in the winter and warm in the summer because they are poorly built so high and low temperature is a problem for them. NO AC and pretty bad heating doesn't help either.

Well built houses keeps the temperature closer to room temperature while poorly built houses keeps the houses cold in the winter and warm in the summer. In England the waterlines often freezes in the winter, I bet Germany don't have that problem. Of course no matter how well your house is built you will feel the outside temperature but the shoddier the house the larger that impact will be.
