Whoever draws the ball comics forgot to include Canada in the French group. Common misconception: Québec is the only French-speaking part of Canadian. Fact: Canada has literally two major provinces that speak French, with around 25% who actually speak French daily at home, and probably around 30-40% who actually almost fluently understand but don't regularly speak French. I'm one of those people. We have two official languages for a reason, not just because Québec exists...

I can put that into a comparison; The sentence "It rained so hard that one needed an umberella" German: "Es hat so fest geregnet, dass man einen Regenschirm brauchte." Switzerland also belongs to the French speaking countries, since like almost half of the population (i think) speaks French, but German is still the dominant language there (with Italian and Romansh in the back)

It's also spoken in Albania by half of the population, in Malta, in Monaco, in Liechtenstein, in Somalia for commercial and administrative services and in many other countries like France, Belgium, Argentina, Canada, Montenegro, Tunisia etc for historical and cultural reasons
