A tad further north than the last video, basically the next river system i saw on the map. Found a few fish on the sounder but takes a while to nut out the new system.

Our property backs onto that river mate, been there for over a decade and love the fishing up there. If you head as far as you possibly can up that river you’ll get cut off by rocks, never not caught something there it’s awesome. Best to go at low tide so the rocks are more exposed and fish the tide coming in. Also stuff all those sooks who whinge about “oh you’re exposing our spots” give the local towns a shout out, we thrive on tourism and you have the platform to help that. People are just sooks. I just gave away my favourite spot and I couldn’t give 2 shits 🤣

Love to see you fishing around my home town. I love that old river! Mate... when i was about 18 (we used to drink too much) and late one afternoon after having a few, four of us grabbed two small tinies and headed of from that ramp towards the mouth.. By the time we got on the water.... it was late and pitch black. We were fishing for threadfin ... middle of winter... pea soup fog and cold as.... after fishing for a while... we pulled the two tinnies together and started talking... our attention turned to a local myth about "the mangrove man"... My neighbour can tell the story with lots of suspense and drama.... it goes on an on and we are just about peeing ourselves... Im sitting at the tiller on one dingy facing upstream,,,, and then ... out of the mist I see this THING... heading towards us... Big arms outstretched above the river.... shaking as it came to us.... I was flat out muttering "what the fffff is that"... Mate there was four of us climding over eachother the get the hell away from the monster.... Well... eventually it hit the boat and to our relief it was a bloody old mangrove tree that has been underwater and had moss and crap all over it... the shaking arms .. were it's branches vibrating as it floated on the big tide..... Suffice to say... we went home after that! Also hooked a leopard shark close to the ramp (at the hot water outlet). Great Video mate.. keep em coming!

Up that river a bit is a spot called 'devils elbow'. Camped there many times and caught plenty of fingermark, barra and salmon. 😎🤙

Hey mate if your still in the area try the sunken yaught up targinnie creek. It is middle left about 50m or 100m from the mout as you enter the creek. Also try the mouth of toolooa bends there’s a bridge that goes over there. Cracking fingermark
